Great Hotel

Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Room was very clean, comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was good, usual breakfast items, well presented. We loved the make your own pancake machine. Reception staff were on hand at check-in/check-out and were very friendly. It is about a 15minute drive to Le Shuttle. There is also a Tesco, 10mins away for fuel and snacks.

Not a good stay

Not clean at all. Staff tried to be helpful and pleasant, but they were untrained in food handling. New parking charges are a pain in the neck - an additional hassle when checking in for four measly pounds - a real pain. Plus £30 charge for dogs is too much, plus our room smelt of dog wee ! Not a good stay.

Great stay

Friendly welcome from the staff, dog friendly room booked and all went very smoothly. Had an early start 4am buffet continental breakfast available to take away. Overall great an experience.

Rip off stay

Staff verygood. Room pretty tired and only 1 set of towels. Asked at reception for another bath towel, which I was promised. Never came. In the morning we had one towel between us both to have a shower. Overall, very tired, and extremely over priced. Living on its laurels due to proximity to the tunnel.
