One of Folly's Best! This oceanfront condo is comfortable and clean with hardwood floors cozy living room modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a new king size Tempur-Pedic mattress nestled underneath a fluffy down comforter. Beautiful Sunrise is located on the third floor of a three-story elevated condo complex and it sits directly on the beach! The building was recently renovated to feature new decking and upgraded A/C units. Beautiful Sunrise's porch offers front-row seating for dolphins playing throughout the day to the beautiful lights on the Folly Pier at night. There is full access to a shared washer/dryer too! You can park your car the entire time you are here in the private parking space provided because you are within easy walking distance of everything Folly has to offer. If you want to enjoy the ocean you will love waking up to the sounds of the waves directly off the front porch of the condo. Beautiful Sunrise is also located on one of the only sections of the beach that provides a lifeguard for safe swimming during the summer season. It is important to note that Beautiful Sunrise is on the third floor of this building without an elevator and the balcony is not private. Beautiful Sunrise allows up to 3 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dogs with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dogs when you inquire. All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Please book with confidence. This property is licensed by city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - License Number LIC002214. The property was as expected based on our previous reviews and site description and yes, a nice spot for dog lovers and their pets who like the beach. We didn’t bring a dog but all tenants with dogs in the building were well behaved and so no complaints there. In our room however, the general appearance was clean but we had a very dog smelly comforter on the bed which we had to remove and wash in the attached laundry room. We also borrowed a big plastic owl we found in an empty spot near our unit which we thought might keep away the black birds that we caught pooping on our porch railing. The owl seemed to do the trick. Nice short stay.

Love that it has a dedicated parking spot in busy Folly Beach. 3rd floor, awesome view of beach, lots of stairs and no elevator which is fine (except my wife has some fear of heights, so had to take her up slow). Responsive staff when I’d needed help with parking location. Stuff well maintained, good fridge, etc. only problem we had was with a dog next unit over that barked until 2am first night
 no fault of these folks. Overall thought it was great!

Folly Beach Getaway

Being on the 3rd floor, we had an awesome view and enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the waves. The condo itself was very nice and was just as pictured. Our only complaint was that the wifi really didn't work for our phones or laptops - even at 6:30 in the morning. Sometimes it didn't even come up as an option. When we did manage to connect, it was very spotty.

Good place but one issue

Overall the place has a great view, is in a great location and, met my needs well, but when i got there i started feeleing sick. I thought i was coming down with the flu or somehting, but further exploration revealed that the bedroom had a window sill with what looked like black mold. Ive had bad similar bad reactions to black mold before and as soon as i cleaned the visiable mold my sympltoms started to get better. Unfortuntely, my 1st 48 hours were unplesant and time wasted.

Perfect location, walking distance to everything Folly has to offer

Condo was clean and well maintained. Super comfy bed. We stayed in mid-May, temps outside in the lower 80’s. A/C cannot be turned below 72, and it always seemed a bit stuffy in the apartment due to the humidity. The ceiling fans in main area and bedroom worked wonderfully, and we had also brought our own small fan. It was convenient having a washer/dryer attached to the actual apartment included. Definitely recommend this condo as it is well maintained, oceanfront, and close distance to bars and restaurants.

Unfortunately the listing fails to mention that it is right next to public beach access and a port o potty trailer. Also, it says third floor but it is actually the 4th and the stairs are very steep.

Longing for home...

Life's twists and turns have stolen me from home but as my 2nd birthday (also Valentine's Day) as a widow crept closer, I longed to dig my heels into the sandy beaches of my childhood. I wanted easy, no chaos, beautiful views, the roar of the ocean. The condo felt like a home, not the sterile feel of a hotel I was avoiding. The views are EXTRAORDINARY, but you"ll put in work for them carrying groceries up to the 3rd flr. Parking is easy. I never moved my car. It's not quiet-- with the location and the neighbors but those sounds felt charming, like I was including in the nbrhd. Not having a washer/dryer is difficult at the beach so plan that better than I did. The views from inside AND outside cannot be matched. You can also hear the ocean from inside the condo.
