Room Dingy, Not Clean. Will not stay again.

The hotel is not updated. As we stayed in the room we noticed the room was not clean, as you can see from the pictures. Thankfully we only stayed one night. If we had stayed more nights we would have left and found another hotel. The hotel staff did not man the the counter and you had to ring for them every time. As we were packing to check out we noticed dog poop under the desk that had been there for quite a while, again another picture. We did not bring this up to hotel staff as there was no staff at the front desk and we had to be somewhere else so could not wait. Also as we walked to our room there were clearly no smoking signs posted everywhere but the smell of weed was quite noticeable. This only happened once but it was strong. The room hvac controls were button and dials, no thermostat. This made controlling the temperature in the room impossible. Will make it a point in the future to avoid this hotel.

Great service and very clean rooms. It is obvious that the management takes pride in providing customers with a comfortable stay. I also loved the rose garden outside the door where we parked.

It was exactly as advertised! Very convenient location for Road America. Very kind and attentive staff. Well-kept. Plenty of breakfast choices! I ate like a queen.
