Enjoyed my stay! I was meeting my half-sister for the first time, and the owner took the time to carry some comfortable chairs into my room so we could talk! There was no one at the front desk, but you can call to get in, and the owner comes quickly. Property was clean and the bed was cozy. Right in the center of town. The room was basic but had everything I needed. Will stay again!

They send me messages asking what they can do to make my stay better. I said last time the cleaning staff was noisy in the morning. Can I get some earplugs? They said no. So I went half a block and bought some for a few bucks. Then they asked again. They said be honest. What can they do for me. I said I could use a load of laundry done if possible. I was in Fort Frances to work on my nephews shed. They didn’t answer. So what is the point of asking. Just blowing smoke up my ass.

Alexandria who greeted us also helped carry 2 of our heavier bags up to the second floor (no elevator). She also offered a dining suggestion of the Flint House which was a very good restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised by the simple, yet clean and safe condition of the hotel. Everything was clean and up-to-date, without being over the top. Nice flat screen TV with a mini-fridge and keurig in the room as well. I would definitely recommend this to others! Also surprised to find a free breakfast in the morning :)
