Tony was very friendly and helpful during check in, and the location was perfect, especially for the reasonable lodging rates the Golden Sands offers. Perfect for budget travelers not needing a swimming pool.

Older property but generally pretty clean. The management was completely useless and unresponsive. Our toilet broke and we were told to use the public toilets nearby!! Our room needed a broom as sand tracks on the floor every time you leave the room. It is literally on the beach and we did have a wonderful ocean view. The saving grace of that whole place is “Jonny” the cleaning/maintenance guy! He’s fantastic and helped us get what was promised to us on the hotel website. (Beach towels not always available and beach chairs are old and rusty!) Hotel 5, Jonny - 10!!!!
