This is one of the best spots on Fort Myers Beach, come and experience your piece of paradise. This spacious 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath condominium with a den is ready for you and your family to kick off your shoes, throw on your sandals and enjoy the sunny island lifestyle. The lovely screened in lanai has a view of the beach and overlooks the pool and is the perfect spot to relax and let in the gulf breezes. The living area has upscale furnishings and comfy seating to enjoy viewing the brand new large flat screen TV. The well stocked kitchen has been remodeled into a cook's dream and there is a separate dining area. The master bedroom sports a king sized bed, its own TV, a second private screened in lanai with a gulf view and a large master bath with double vanities and walk in shower. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, a third private screened in lanai with a view of the bay and its own guest bath and there's a sleeper sofa in the den to accommodate extra guests. A washer/dryer and free WiFi are provided in the unit for your convenience.

There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.

Island Winds is a beachfront resort condominium complex with beautiful tropical landscaping and secured lobby, pool and beach gates, building elevators and ample on site parking. Amenities include a resort sized heated pool, spa, and sundeck with lounge chairs, a large Tiki Hut where guests gather for a sunset celebration - and best of all, the beautiful Gulf in your backyard.

Fort Myers Beach is famous for its breathtaking sunsets, long white sandy beaches, shell collecting, boating, water sports and excellent fishing.

Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. The condo was ok. It was clean and welcoming. The condo had beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. The lanai were small and would not fit the four of us. The second bedroom was a bit small. The washing machine had mold and the wifi didn't work. Unknown to us, but the condo we stayed in was for sale. We had to leave twice so the condo could be shown.

Absolutely the BEST!

We have stayed at Island Winds for a week each of the last two summers. It is never busy (like really only about 20% capacity) the end of July and everything is so clean. The beach is spectacular with fantastic shelling and white sand and the water is always very calm. Dolphins are a near-daily sight and the sunsets are amazing. Island Winds is on a quieter end of FMB but close to everything. Very family friendly and we never get bored with just hanging in the ocean or the wonderful pool. 10 out of 10, we wish we could afford a unit to call our second home!

It would have been nice to know the unit under ours was under going a remodel. Jackhammering started at 8am till 4 pm. We could not stay in the unit during that time.

Would rent this condo again. The layout is perfect; and adding the den for an extra space was great. The decor was absolutely beautiful and the master bedroom private. Great location and breathtaking views. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation!!

Over all it was ok!

Pretty nice property and area. Cleanliness could have been better and I would definitely recommend the washing of the linens be the staff of the properties responsibility. When extra linens were pulled from the closets I truly do not think they had been washed in sometime. Also if there is not going to be any staff available on the weekends at the actual property I would make sure your renters have what they need for the week when they pick up keys. We checked in on Saturday at 3pm and could not get a pool key until Monday.

BathTowels, beach towels and linens

This may sound silly but we appreciated having a fully stocked bathroom with bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. there were also beach towels. we typically bring these with us. The beds were very comfortable and this coming from my husband is unusual. The negative is that whomever does the cleaning does not do a very good job. we actually vacuumed under the sofa with the recliners out because the dust/grime line was visible. Took pics too if ever asked. that part was disappointing sonce we were charged a cleanig fee. We were there for two weeks andI guess my level of clean is different. Loved the accessibility to the grill and another surprise-nice quality

Kathy Nesbitt vacations makes it easy to contact if there are any problems in reference to this property. I do feel a new cleaning person should be hired. Perhaps a Keurig coffee pot. Other than that the property was nice and comfortable. I would recommend renting again.

Gorgeous condo!!

After a busy year teaching 21 first graders and keeping up with 4 busy kiddos at home, I was ready to rest in the sunshine state. Our family was impressed with this condo. It was very clean, spacious, equipped with everything needed for a week away from home , and the beach is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I highly recommend this condo if you’re looking for a great place for your family to stay in Ft Myers Beach, Florida. ☀️

Island Winds Best on Fort Myers Beach

We have stayed in various units at Island winds for several years. Island winds is by far the best place to stay on Fort Myers Beach! We really like the den conversion on this unit, we set up our home office as I always travel with my laptop. Ran into a couple of little maintenance issues, which were handled immediately. If you plan to cook, this unit could be a little better stocked. We mostly went out to eat and eat leftovers.

A great condo for an amazing price!

We had a wonderful time at 501 Island winds. There is nothing wrong with this condo. The view of the ocean is wonderful, the condo is huge and the price is small.. We had an easy check in and check out as well. We would definitely stay here again. I’d give it a 10 if I could.

Spacious condo & a great location!

We have enjoyed staying in Fort Myers Beach many times & we truly made our condo at Island Winds our home away from home for the week. We were happy the owners have the home stocked with board games & cards for our evenings hanging with the family. Also supplied were beach towels & chairs which isn’t always the case with some rentals. The pool is perfectly heated & nice to sit around after a long day in the sand. We like the convenience of making breakfast & lunch in our condo so we can have full beach days then enjoy our dinners at one of the restaurants in the area. There are so many good ones to choose from. We will definitely be visiting Fort Myers Beach again in the future!
