The room is a basic beach room. Kitchen was nice. The A/C probably should be cleaned. The beds should be similar I would think. 1 is a memory foam, but the other is a old spring mattress. I would love for the management to take a nap on it!! We rested for a couple of hours. Woke up around 3 am uncomfortable with beds and odor in room. We just got up and drove home.

Very easy check-in process, close to the beach and dining was walkable although limited with only 2 options. Ubered into the main area in Ft Myers beach a couple of times for more options. Would certainly stay here again.

Clean room, property is clean, staff was very friendly, less than a block from the beach with easy access. Only one issue we found was the TV way to small but hey your only in the room for a few hours a day so overall it’s really a great little getaway.

The room was quite small, reminiscent of a 1950's motel, but it was clean and recently updated. We only stayed one night so the size was not an issue. Close to a very nice wide sandy beach with a lot of seashells.

We stayed two nights not conferencing a row, The first night the room was terrible, very small, no chair in the room, The furniture was very old, not impressive The second night the room was better (room 216 corner room, but still not the best. The best part of this inn was the minutes walk to the beach which was beautiful.

Two blocks walking distance from the beach

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. It was close to the beach. There was daily linen service and trash pickup.
Cons: Smoking locations a reasonable distance away from non-smoking doorways. Complete the lobby beverage area, or, offer room options for coffee.
Location: The location is good, near the south end of the island. Nice breakfast and lunch restaurant across the street. Great beach access.
Our stay was very disappointing. We were given a non-smoking room which we requested, but the door to the room was an outside door that had a one quarter inch open gap all the way down from the door knob. There was a balcony shared with two other non-smoking rooms with a table and chairs and ashtrays within two feet of our entry door where guests were constantly smoking during our stay. The room was small but had a king bed. The ancient air conditioner filled up the small window in the room, and blew cool air directly onto the heads of those sleeping in the bed, There was no coffeepot in the room, although we did have a refrigerator and a microwave. There was a lobby, but no coffee was available anywhere on the property. The room in general was noticeably dirty, the floor in particular. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and there were clean towels and garbage collected every day. The fan and the air conditioner needed to be running most of the time to keep the room "comfortable". The staff was responsive and helpful. Might be ok for a quick one night stay.

Flamingo Stay Inn

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Great bed, TV and air conditioner.
Cons: The room was small, but very clean and unique. You could tell that the owners added every convenience possible to make our stay genuine and one of a kind. The hotel was a two star but it fit the travelocity description and was a great price for a last, last minute reservation. We will return with friends in a future trip.
Location: Plenty of activity nearby with a great beach several hundred yards away. Everything we needed.

The price was great considering the location.

The price and location were great considering the location within walking distance of the beach. The carpeting on the stairs was old and dirty. The mattress was lumpy and the pillows awful. You get what you pay for.

Great Hotel

Pros: I liked this hotel since it was not on the main strip, and quieter than the other places we looked at.
Cons: The bed was a little to soft, and indented on my husbands side. They needed a new bed, more pillows and blankets. Need a pool, and closet in the room.
Location: Location was great for us. It was quiet and not on the main drag away from the rowdier crowd.
I really enjoyed my stay! The room was clean, and the full kitchen was great for breakfast, when we didn't feel like getting dressed and going to a restaurant. The addition of having a grill available also added to the comfort, since a hamburger at a restaurant was about $13.00. We had a private balcony which we loved, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
