This fit the bill especially for the price, we loved the pool, and it was a good solution if you're just looking to lay your head, but the property needs a little TLC! Location was great for accessing both Sanibel & Fort Myers, and the pool was certainly a highlight. Breakfast was also great with gluten free options for us including eggs, sausage, Udi's bagels, and yogurt, indoor and outdoor dining areas, although I wish it started at 6am instead of 7am. Biggest knock was our room was musty. We had to empty the dehumidifier when we first arrived, I know it's FL, and while the bathroom was somewhat recently updated the room itself was less so and could likely use some new carpeting and AC unit to help resolve any ongoing moisture issues. The dehumidifier also squeaked so loudly we had to turn it off at night. One of my biggest pet peeves is when tropical locations don't have enough drying hooks for towels / swimsuits, this bathroom only had 2. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but mostly for reasons aside from our room!

We checked in around 11:30pm and immediately noticed the property was run down with torn flooring, damaged ceilings, stained furniture and carpet throughout. It felt more like a roadside motel than a hotel, and honestly didn't feel clean enough to stay comfortably. We made the best of it that first night since we arrived so late, but checked out the following morning. Breakfast was disappointing. They had grab-and-go items like muffins, oranges, and yogurt, plus waffle makers, but the eggs and sausage were fridge-cold and burned at the same time, inedible. I wouldn't recommend this property. The one bright spot was hotel staff member Loraine, who made the early checkout process easy and stress-free.

We had a cockroach in our room and tv didn’t work both nights we were staying. I called front desk about tv they said to hold why they could find someone to help. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then they hung up.

Staff were all friendly and pleasant. However, twice in 12 hours we found our TV not working and the first time, in evening, there was one person on staff in entire hotel and it took him well over an hour to come and fix the problem,which he knew about. The next morning, it happened again and no one answered my request, later telling me she went to the wrong room. Unacceptable.

The lobby, breakfast area and pool were very nice. Our room was decent but there were two dead cockroaches on the floor that I noticed in the morning. We live in FL and are used to seeing cockroaches (palm meadow bugs) so wasn’t really too concerned).
