This three bedroom two bath spacious condo is located in the Heron Building of the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort - home of the 700 foot lazy lagoon river as well as multiple other swimming pools and hot tubs!

This condo boosts beautiful unobstructed views of the Choctawhatchee Bay from large balcony. Watch the sailboats and the dolphins go by while you relax with your morning coffee.

Master bedroom has elegant furnishings with King size bed and spa style bathroom. Jetted garden tub in bathroom with walk in tiled shower. Large walk in closet.
Second bedroom has King size bed-(new 2021) lots of closet space and TV/DVD with access to full size bathroom

Third bedroom has bunk bed with twin over full and twin underneath., Flat screen TV. There is an air mattress for those 9th and 10th guests available.

All linens are provided and are top of the line with high thread count. This condo will furnish you and your family with luxury throughout.

Gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

Dining area has large table with plenty of seating for everyone. Living room has Comfy sofa and is the perfect place to unwind after a long hard day at the beach. Great place for movie night with large TV and DVD player or catch the big game.

Furnished with the condo is high speed wireless internet for ease of internet access.

Destin West offers something for every guest. 700 Foot Lazy Lagoon River with inner tubes provided on site free of charge. Waterfall swimming pool, two huge hot tubs too. Guests in the Heron Building also have access to an additional seasonally heated pool located directly below this property. Additional pools including kiddie pool are available for your use too - just a short walk over the walkover bridge connecting both sides of this exclusive resort.

Overall it was a great experience but cleanliness was not good at all. Let’s just say we knew every spot of the place that was used for adulting prior to our visit. This part of the stay was bad for my anxiety cleaning everywhere before I sat my kids down. But location and view was amazing it actually made up for the extra cleaning I had to do.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. We have rented at Destin West several times before but not this particular unit and we were not disappointed. We bring our grandchildren here every spring break and we just love this complex. The heated pools and hot tubs are great and the kids always like to fish from the dock.

We loved the layout of the condo and how comfortable we felt. The deck was great and the the walk way to the beach. The weather was horrible during our stay and the property lost power for a couple hours. We had to use the stairs due to the power outage and some of the emergency lights were not working which made it dangerous and a little scary. The property felt safe, and kept up with. We had an overall good trip minus the weather. We all slept like babies.

Our stay was probably the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had. Everyone had a wonderful time, from our 3 & 5 yr old grandchildren to me and my wife. Everything was as advertised on the web site. We had an issue with the light in the kitchen and it was resolved immediately. Very friendly and professional staff. We will be returning!

Nice amenities, challenging use

Heron 305 is a cute property with ample space for your family to enjoy their relaxing vacation. We were able to get into our room a few hours early so that was very helpful. Upon entering the condo, we were pleased with the view of the lazy river. The floors were still wet and our socks were instantly black, along with soap buildup on the shower ledge from the previous party. We were able to clean it up ourselves without issue. Early in our stay, we realized the garbage disposal did not work. We contacted the property manager and maintenance was supposed to come but didn't. We asked again and they did come on our last day but what chaos in the kitchen! During the day, we greatly enjoyed our time at the beach and the pool across the road. Our experience was that it was far less crowded and great for the kids to have space to swim. The lazy river lights up at night, making it an added fun experience. The location is great. You can easily hop in your car to go to Destin or walk to the Boardwalk for restaurant options. If you are planning to stay here, I would bring some of your own kitchen items. We aren't great cooks but still found the items in the kitchen lacking. If we were to come again, we would definitely bring a skillet or two, scissors, and plastic cups/plates for kids. As a side note, I contacted the property manager about toys and beach chairs before bringing our own and was told there were not any BUT there are chairs! I hope this is helpful!

Fabulous Condo!

This is a fabulous condominium and we really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious and comfortable. Heated swimming pools, “Lazy River” and pedestrian bridge over the highway to get to the beach made things very convenient to use. Everything was top notch. We had an awesome time. The condo is beautiful. Your view of the lazy river is now blocked by the growth of the palm trees, but the view of the bay is beautiful. We saw dolphins more than once during our stay. If there are any slight disappointments was the cleanliness of the floor (needs a very through cleaning) and dust above the kitchen sink. The mattresses in the full size/twin size room were uncomfortable and could use an upgrade. Especially if you are staying more than a weekend. Very minor issues and we would certainly book again!!
