The reservation was paid online and the worker kept trying to take my CC information. The room was dirty and dingy, the door looked like it had been kicked in, and the property sign said no pest, but someone had a dog who kept barking and I did not get any sleep. I would like a refund for my stay!

I was ‘upgraded’ to a room that smelled of chemical and burnt trash. The floor was stained, the towels were stained, there was no soap. Claimed to have breakfast and pool. Neither was true. I just needed to crash for the night and I got there late, so I just buried my face in the pillow and got out asap. Oh, the tub clogged after my soapless shower too.

Low Income Housing property. Not really a hotel. Everybody we saw there actually lived there full time. Somebody knocked on the door at 2am, then again a couple minutes later. Probably to sell crack or prostitution. Nobody was giggling. No phone in room to call front desk which closes at 10pm anyway. Lots of kids live with families there riding bikes and running around and in the pool. Noise all night in neighborhood. Creaking floor above us all night long. Police showed for 911 call during the day, not from us though. First room we were given had food in fridge but no power supply or remote for TV so they gave us a different room. There was dirty washrag hanging over shower curtain. Yeah...gross. Would be great way to experience living in a ghetto.

Our party had 3 rooms. All three, in this "No Smoking" facility had signs of smoking, smell, cigarette butt in one room, cigarette burns on furniture. All 3 were sub-par on cleanliness. One room did not have hot water. Don't know about the other 2, they didn't want to use the dirty moldy shower. No where near the quality of other Hawthorn Suites. Good price point but no where near the quality of others in the same price range.

Very run down. The property shown in the pictures is not the actual property at all. Nor were the rooms picture the actual rooms. Pictures showed a fireplace - no fireplaces. Room was at 55 degrees when we checked in - could not get the heat to come on. Bathtub looked dirty so I turned on the water to see if it was that or something else - no water but a tiny trickle. Light fixture with no covering - could see insulation and into the rafters. We did not stay. Sorry - no way.
