You can’t get any closer to the water then On The Rocks. This three bedroom camp is located right on George’s Pond in Franklin, Maine. Newly purchased and remodeled!

**Please, take note we are only taking reservations for two guests.***

Plenty of fishing and swimming can be done right from the dock.

MDI/Acadia National Park is about 45 minutes away. Schoodic Peninsula is only about 30 minutes away and very beautiful. You also avoid the Bar Harbor traffic!

This is an excellent property, beautifully clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We stayed for 5 nights during a road trip through New England. We used it as a base to explore Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and the Maine coast. We found the location perfect, about 30 mins drive to wherever we needed to go. It was extremely comfortable, peaceful and with the most incredible views over the lake. Very sad to leave.

This is an amazing property. It’s also incredible clean and well maintained. It fits the description perfectly to a T. It’s a nice peaceful calming setting as well. On The Rocks was as beautiful as you can imagine fall in Maine would be! You literally are right on the lake, view is gorgeous. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything we needed, close to hiking and seeing the coastline of Maine. We enjoyed our stay very much!
