Oma Lange's is a perfect example of classic Fredericksburg architecture. The traditional Sunday House front porch with its dual front doors, porch swing, wooden rockers, and original gingerbread trim are reminiscent of a time gone by. Inside, the same historic charm is reflected in the original wood floors and the elegant stained glass transoms above the doors. Oak trim work and the original windows add further ambience and old-Fredericksburg feel.

The conversation style living room with open concept dining, featuring a farmhouse table that seats 6. Along with an ample sized full kitchens, means you can take a break (should you wish!) from the world class restaurants of Fredericksburg and make your own meal, or cater-in!

This home features two spacious bedrooms, each with King beds and their own full bathrooms. A sunroom, situated between the kitchen and second bedroom, offers a large twin daybed bringing the main house occupancy to a total of 5.

The private hot tub is nestled outside the back door, with conversation pit seating located under the covered patio at the end of the driveway, and gas grill are ideal for entertaining. Other amenities of the home include a private driveway, a gas ambience fireplace, Wifi, and more!

Wonderful location and home!

Very nice with all the things we needed...including a great blender! Perfect for us four sisters/one niece; no more. Enjoyed every minute and front porch was great!! Back patio with jacuzzi was not utilized but not as welcoming an area with large chairs there. BBQ not very accessible. Would only use in winter but just know. Front porch was gorgeous and very comfortable! I'd sent a text with photo of a dining chair that was found broken upon arrival; found when attempt to sit in it; sadly someone had tried to reset the spindles to hide the breaks.... I own a condo we rent on SP Island; know how important it is to inform owner. Make no mistake, house is PERFECT location, close enough to everything but quiet for the most part and quite enjoya!!! Would stay again!!

Had a great stay! Lovely house, very clean and well stocked! Thank you for having all the basics, coffee, sugars, creamers and chocolates!! The added amenities like soap, shampoo, condition and makeup clothes were so nice! Beds were so comfortable and we loved our stay! Perfect location! Highly recommend and would stay again!

Retirement Celebration Getaway

The cottage is loaded with charm and we enjoyed our 4 night stay. Some things to note are the parking was confusing at first. This cottage does not have a driveway, however, the owners also own the cottage next door & if they are not there you can park in that driveway. We didn’t realize that and just parked on the side street which was fine. Secondly as others have noted although the cottage is only 1 block from Main Street it is on the West end of town which is a ways from the main area of interests. Unless you are a big walker be prepared to drive and park. Finally the thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the thin curtains or lack thereof (none in the upper windows). The house sits on a corner lot & both bedrooms had street lights shining in the rooms. There was enough light that if you had to get up in the middle of the night you could see well enough to walk around.Overall a nice place and we would stay here again!

We had a great sister trip to see the Christmas lights! Nice home, very clean, very well stocked! We loved the coffee variety and the great chocolates!!! Would recommend to any adult to stay here.

We totally enjoyed the home. Historic older homes are amazing. Loved the hardwood floors, all the rooms, spacious, front porch swing!! All the little details from coffee, room spray, and hand washing soaps, paper towels in the kitchen were great yet small dish towel for washing would be great. Would stay here again!!
