Ironically my wife and I are still in shock to be honest- as our experience the first time here was absolutely wonderful. This go round however Upon my arrival I was told the room wasn’t ready. No problem it happens once we waited for about an hour and reported to the room as instructed. I open the door only to behold the room had not been cleaned. I was appalled because of the wait. I returned back downstairs to make them aware and was asked to wait around until they could flip the room basically. I did because canceling would have caused us to loose money. It was super uncomfortable to be asked to go to a room almost 15 mins later when we know there is no way to flip a room in that short time. This opens us up to bacteria and germs missed. Thank goodness my wife travels with disinfectant so we were able to properly clean the room and wait out the wet times associated. Bath towels were not up to standard and contained stains. To say I’m feeling shorted is an understatement . Sadly enough we spoke with what appeared to a Manager regarding a discount for inconvenience and was advised that the next time we come and stay we will be upgraded. No real sense of responsibility. We relocated to another hotel establishment for the next few days because we don’t want to stay somewhere that the staff doesn’t value us enough as customers to clean the room the first time and properly the second time. As a member of healthcare wet times are super important as they support reducing germs.
