The place was very clean and cozy! The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed drinking our coffee bay side:) The kitchen was well stocked with all that we would need and there were plenty games, both indoor and outdoor. We are a family of 6, all adults, and we felt like we had plenty of space and had everything needed! Definitely recommend:))

Great family getaway

Loved the property, perfect for kids with waterfront but huge grassy yard to run and play. Loved the beachfront firepit with wood provided! Pack and play was provided on request.

We had a great stay at this location. Very nice house and a great location. Believe listing should be changed because first amenity listed is a hot tub and there is not one! All there is is a soaking tub in the master bath. Also would recommend better coordination with lawn care personnel. Two nights in a row, they came late (6-7pm) to do the lawn. Very noisy when we were trying to enjoy a quiet evening. They need to come during the day when most people are probably out enjoying the island.

Beautiful Garrison Bay

Comfortable, family home. Wonderful yard for the kids to play. Home style furnishings and large dinner table make for great get-togethers. Quiet neighborhood, good nights sleep too! Convenient location just down a country lane.

Nice property for a family stay

We had a lovely time in this home - the location is great and the yard and access to water is even better. Given the price point, however, there were some things that could be improved. Examples include no sponge to wash pots/pans in the kitchen, no shampoo in the guest shower, no regular salt for cooking (only large crystals of sea salt), and an uncomfortably firm mattress in the master bedroom. All small things.

August Getaway

This house on San Juan Island was a great choice for our family vacation. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 3 children, and the yard was big enough for the kids to run around outside. We enjoyed watching the nightly visits by the deer through the large picture windows. I enjoyed coffee on the back balcony/porch in the morning. We plan to come back again.

Our experience

The house is comfortable and in a beautiful location. We had a great time. We have some recommendations to improve the experience for guests. The alarm outside went off during the night and early morning, waking us up. Needs to be attended to, bathroom hand towels and wash rags soiled and worn thin, toilet in one bathroom broken. Although it was fixed the problem continued and toilet kept running which triggered the alarm. The refrigerator does not close tightly.Think these are minor improvements, but if attended to would enhance the experience of your guest so they would not have to be inconvenienced. Thank you

Good Experience with need for improvements

We came with a boat but had no buoy or dock to keep it. We would have liked to check the house if it met our needs. This was not possible. We would have discovered that the access to our boat would have been through dinghy and thus a problem. The overall stay was good

Great place to stay for your vacation

Our family stayed here for our niece’s wedding along with all the festivities included. We took family pictures in front of the water, enjoyed our coffee on the deck and burgers at the picnic table. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Owner was available and she left a notebook full of information about the Island.
