Villa Antonio

Very quiet and private location in the countryside.



This lovely small villa is set amidst avocado fields and olive groves, providing a peaceful and private country retreat. The owners have done their best to offer you a comfortable stay, with good quality furnishings and some nice gadgets such as a Bluetooth speaker and Nespresso machine. All ingredients are there for a perfect holiday!



Location and outside area

The villa is located somewhat northwest of Nerja (5.9 km) and can be reached by a 1.4 km long concrete track with a few sharp curves, passing through lush vegetation and a small river bed right before arriving. The last 300m is an unsurfaced road with some bumps (normal cars can drive without problem but should be careful). Nerja offers splendid beaches, a vast array of facilities and a humming nightlife. There are also beach bars and restaurants opened all year round. For shopping, you can also make a stop at the charming whitewashed village of Frigiliana (3 km), where you will find supermarkets, good restaurants and tapas bars. This area is a walkers' paradise. If you prefer driving, then the pretty white villages of the Axarquia region, the historic caves of Maro and the Alhambra Palace in Granada are just some of the excursions to be enjoyed.



Sun loungers await at the terrace that surrounds the pool (6.5m x 3.5m and 1.2m - 1.7m deep). For a lazy siesta, you can take shelter from the midday sun under the covered veranda terrace, which is also a perfect setting to enjoy an alfresco meal. Next to the pool you will find a splendid barbecue area.



Inside and lay-out

The interior of the villa is tastefully furnished and decorated, providing a good level of comfort. The villa has all rooms on one floor. From the veranda, there is an access to the living/dining room where you will find 2 sofas, open fireplace, satellite-TV and dining facilities for 6. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, a 3 ringed induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and all kinds of utensils. There is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. There is a shower room with WC and single wash basin.



The villa has a free internet connection and several extra’s such as a Bluetooth speaker, "Dolce Gusto" coffee machine and safe box.



Notes:

- Air conditioning (cooling) in the bedrooms included from 1/04 to 31/10 (the air has quite a bit of power, so it conditions the entire house).

- Optional air heating in the bedrooms from 1/11 to 31/03, at a cost of EUR 50 per week (the air has quite a bit of power, so it conditions the entire house).

We had a really lovely week, so peaceful and quiet. The villa was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah enjoying the beautiful scenery. And the pool is amazing! A car is a must but Frigiliana is only 10 minutes drive away where we enjoyed many good evening meals! Love Villa Antonio!!!

We love this place! Villa Antonio is perfect! It is in a wonderful, peaceful location and has literally everything you could want or need, even down to a juicer and a Dolce gusto coffee maker. It is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The sofas and beds are super comfortable and there's even memory foam pillows! The owners have really thought of everything. The terrace is the centre of everything for us - it is blissful to eat all your meals outside or just relax in the shade with a book and the pool is INCREDIBLE! We love it so much that this year we will be returning for the 4th time. The owners are really friendly and helpful too, but never intrusive. We would also like to give a shout out to everyone at Casitas who without fail, every year are friendly, helpful and professional.

We spent a very relaxing week at villa Antonio, (We also came last year and have already booked for next! That's how much we love it!) It is in a peaceful secluded location and has a wonderful view. The terrace and pool areas are great and immaculately clean, and have multiple lighting options for after dark. (The stars are amazing too!) All of our meals were enjoyed on the terrace. Inside is just as perfect. It has everything you need from a dishwasher and washing machine and even a Dolce Gusto coffeemaker and citrus juicer. 😀 The beds are very comfortable, (One double and two singles.) When you get the driving instructions it looks daunting but it really isn't. We drove it in a Fiat 500 and a Renault Clio with no problems whatsoever. This villa is really incredible and, to be honest, if you have food, water (and wine!) you have everything you need! We can't wait to revisit next year. Rob and Nicky H. UK.

Belle maison bien équipée avec jolie piscine bien entretenue. Joli Mobilier. Literie agréable. Propriétaire super réactif et disponible. Très accueillant. Propreté impeccable des lieux. Accès maison un peu compliqué et isolé. Villages et commerces à 10 min en voiture. Dommage que climatisation soit payante en plus à 70€/semaine. Impossible de s’en passer. The villa is superb. Whilst it is traditional ...

The villa is superb. Whilst it is traditional in its decor it is clearly a newly built villa (or extremely well looked after) we were met by the owners who were extremely friendly and clearly cared about the cleanliness and presentation of the villa. Whilst I didn't speak any Spanish we communicated through google translate and instructions and details were easily shared. The villa had everything needed for a week of pure seclusion and relaxation. The owners provided all the essentials and much more including bottled water on arrival. The pool and bbq area are both well kept and clean. We spent evenings on the veranda and the views were lovely. Every area of the villa was well kept and the WiFi signal was excellent. I cannot recommend this villa enough. Not many places who would go to so much effort to get the detail right. The only thing to mention is the road to the villa. As others have mentioned once you have done it once you soon get used to it but just a small note of caution. In

Etait parfaitement propre et bien rangée ...

Etait parfaitement propre et bien rangée à notre arrivée. Tout à l'intérieur est presque neuf. Aucun problème pendant le séjour, piscine très agréable et propre également (le propriétaire Antonio s'en occupe une à deux fois par semaine). Internet rapide (wifi) et télévision par satellite (Astra) qui fonctionne très bien. Les téléphones portables captent parfaitement les réseaux. L'environnement est très tranquille. Il faut savoir que cette "casa rural" est dans la campagne et que la route pour y arriver est très raide et étroite, non goudronnée sur la fin (pas un problème tant qu'il ne pleut pas).

La villa est parfaitement agencé, la piscine et le mobilier sont très propres, les plantes sont parfaitement entretenu (de nombreux arbres fruitiers l'entoure). Le cadre est splendide, une magnifique vue sur les montagnes, les levés et couchés de soleil sont très facilement admirables. Il est notamment à noter que la maison est très bien équipée. Nous avons passé de superbes vacances au calme, tout en étant proche de la grande ville mouvementée de Nerja. Je recommande vivement d'autant plus que les propriétaires sont adorables et serviables.

On dit qu'après les nuages il y a le soleil ; c'est exactement le sentiment que j'ai eu en arrivant dans cette maison. Route difficile mais le bonheur à l'arrivée. Accueil par Antonio qui nous a mis à l'aise et fais le tour du propriétaire, plaisir des yeux des oreilles et du nez, maison d'une propreté inégalée. Il n y a pas la climatisation mais, en toute honnêteté, on en avait pas besoin malgré les températures avoisinant les 35. Tout le nécessaire était sur place, on y était mieux que chez nous. Cette maison est une belle histoire et aussi un JOLIE COUP DE COEUR. Pour un tarif très bas au vue les prestations. Merci encore. Et j'espère à 2019.

Beautiful quiet location

Gorgeous 2 bedroom villa with private pool. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Lovely outside space with stunning views of the surrounding hills, avocado and mango trees. Just 12 minute drive to Frigiliana or 12 minutes in the opposite direction to Aldi in Nerja. Despite it being a little off the beaten track on a small road leading to a track - instructions by the owner are very clear and once you’ve driven it once, it’s all ok. Would love to return again.

Wil je rust en een fantastische plek dan moet je hier zijn! Maar ook als je van uitstapjes houdt kun je alle kanten op en dan aan het eind van de dag nog heerlijk nagenieten in je privé zwembad. Een auto is wel nodig als je dit huis huurt maar dan heb je ook wat! Wij hebben genoten! Volgend jaar komen we weer!

Perfectly nestled in the hills surrounding the towns of Nerja and picturesque Frigiliana. Whilst still retaining its rustic Spanish charm the pool and bbq totally made the holiday for us. For us, everything was perfect. We had a rental car so the rural location wasn't a problem.
