This house has beautiful sunset views and is located on a quiet street. It has an open floor plan and is very comfortable for big families. The only draw back was that the bikes were in poor condition.

Just okay

The house looks as pictured but the beds, linens, bathrooms and kitchen weren’t very nice. The house had very minimal bedding so no extra blankets or bedding and we had a rainy cool couple of days and could have used a few extras. Also the kitchen was very difficult to prepare food in because there was only a couple of pots and pans and they were older and very used looking. Only 2 baking dishes and just seemed to be stocked from leftovers from an old kitchen. The bathrooms were functional but very dated. Overall it was fine for a quick weekend but I wouldn’t book again.

Perfect vacation with our adult children.

This place feels like it’s brand new. We really enjoyed taking the bikes out every day, and the golf cart was a favorite! We used the grill a lot and ate all our meals at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. My daughter and her fiancĂ© spent a lot of alone time on the screened in porch. My husband loves watching the sun set and the main balcony was perfect for that. We had a beautiful view of the marsh. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Nice location to go to Marina, center of island and cabana club. Well stocked kitchen. Great communication. Nice that it comes with 2 cards and a golf cart. Lots of steps (fyi) and could use some updates but clean. Very friendly owner. We have stayed here twice and would again.

Nice pet friendly house.

Great stay and enjoyed bringing our dogs. The golf cart was wonderful having as was having some bicycles to take down to the beach access. We grilled almost every night. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Living area is on the 3rd floor so makes a lot of trips up and down if anyone has mobility issues but makes for a nice view out the back of the house to see the marsh area.

The property needs a lot of upkeep - paint and repairs would help a lot. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, if you enjoy cooking, the beds are comfortable, and the linens are in good shape. It is a good place to touchdown after very busy days. The owner is very nice. My grandson left some expensive equipment in the unit and the owner sent it to us right away, at his expense. It was very generous.

Communication with the homeowner is fabulous. The bedding arrangement is nice with three queen beds and one room with two twin beds. There are 3 1/2 bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked with quite a bit. The living room furniture is comfortable. The table seats six and the barstools are available as well. Be aware that there are a lot of steps for those that have difficulty with steps. With maintenance, and a little better deep cleaning, the house could be fabulous. The view of the marsh is great!

Rent with Caution

This property is in very poor condition. Floors are really bad, vents need cleaning, mildew and mold on some ceilings and cabinets. Bedding was damp and mildewy- I went and bought towels and sheets to sleep on top their bedding. Appliances rusty and unclean. Grills broken and disgusting. With the COVID situation, every rental should have all bedding replaced between guests. Extra bedding in closet was unclean & smelled. We were beyond disappointed. We had to move to a different house- quality was vastly different. I took photos of everything. To say our weeks stay was disrupted is an understatement. To his credit, the owner was quick to respond and apologize. He sent out a guy with a bleach bottle the next day to clean mold and mildew. Not the solution with tenants staying there. Also we received a full refund for our trip to put towards an acceptable rental but three days out of our vacation we were stuck in these poor living conditions. It is a great price, allows pets and has ample sleeping room though two rooms- the beds/ mattresses are awful. If you are looking for cheaper pricing, this may be your solution
 but renter beware. The only way to solve this level of deterioration is to remove from market and address the floors, ventilation, appliance, replace broken items. It is still on the market so I felt I needed to make this know to future renters. We have stayed at Fripp for 10 years now- this home is not up to Fripp standards!
