We went in Mid May 2025. A modern hotel. Room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable only 1 pillow though. They say the sheets will be refreshed on day 3 of a week long stay. We had spilt a small amount of coffee on the sheet but they just made the bed without changing the sheets. A handrail was loose in the bathroom and came off but staff fixed straight away. Looks a bit different to the photos but still very nice. Lots of flies and bugs around the pool area but theres probably not much that can be done about that. The pool was closed until July which was a bit strange as it was 28 degrees and very sunny. Some of the sunloungers were ripped and a few had bird excrement on them. The balanise beds were closed off. The snack bar by the pool was also closed. Staff were very nice and polite. Room didnt have coffee making facilites when we arrived but we were provided with a kettle and cups upon asking. We didnt eat much at the hotel, mainly went to the independent restauraunts and bar in the resort. Ordered a pork burger at the hotels club house which was raw in the middle so steered clear after that. The main areas were well lit at night but some of the paths between the apartments were very dark and we stumbled a few times on steps. The resort itself is quite remote. Definetely need a hire car if you plan on days out. There is a bus from fuente alamo to cartagena and murcia but getting a taxi is quite difficult. Staff were very helpful and rang several taxi firms for us.
The room was fine and comfortable. The pool, Spa and aports center were closed. The golf course was in horrific shape. The restaurants in the community were closed. Felt like we were in a desolate movie lot. We paid for 2 nights, but stayed one and moved on.
Check in was great, very friendly staff, and room was great. Appreciate its low season but disappointing not to even have tea/coffee in the room as you have to go across to the golf club for all meals and drinks during October-April.
