The hotelâs location is quite good â itâs close to the station, and there are restaurants, convenience stores, a large supermarket nearby. The price is also very reasonable, not expensive at all.
Unfortunately, the soundproofing is really poor. The guests upstairs wouldnât return until around midnight or even 12:05 every night, and then theyâd all take turns showering â you could hear the water running clearly. We could also hear them walking around above us, moving their luggage, and dropping things on the floor. It went on for about two hours each night, and it didnât quiet down until 2 or 3am. This happened several nights in a row. If youâre very sensitive to noise, do take this into consideration.
I had read other reviews mentioning this issue, but I didnât think it would affect me since Iâm usually not bothered by noise. Still, I was woken up just as I was about to fall asleep, and it didnât feel great.
Also, to use the toilet at night, you need to climb up to the rooftop, which can be a bit of a hassle. If youâre travelling with young children, this could be quite dangerous â thereâs no barrier around the rooftop, so youâll need to be extra cautious, especially with kids under five
