This sixth floor apartment benefits from a southern exposure and amazing views from the living area and bedrooms. Recently fully refurbished to a high standard, the lovely airy open-space lounge, dining and kitchen opens to the sea-facing balcony, where you can relax in the evenings, check out which cruise ships are in that day and see the world go by on the sea promenade below (specially beguiling in the evening sun).
Both bedrooms are spacious and have air conditioning/heating and share the modern shower-room. The larger has king-size bed, the second bedroom two single beds.

Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.
Booking notes The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out. The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities. This is a very clean and spacious well equipped apartment furnished with good quality items. The owner is very responsive to any questions. The location was perfect for us with everything that we could possibly need close by. The balcony is south facing so has sunshine most of the day, the perfect place to sit and watch the activity around the marina. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment.
Loved our stay in Funchal! The apartment is clean, well equipped and has a wonderful location overlooking the marina. Check in, check out and service while we were there was also excellent. We were very happy that we chose this apartment!
We had a great stay at this property, the apartment is well proportioned and has a great view of the harbour area. Nice spacious rooms, great balcony, and very convenient for the centre of Funchal and close to numerous restaurants and bars. Very comfortable beds and lots of storage.
A few minor niggles, getting access to the recycling area was very difficult and instructions were not very good. The furnishing are a bit basic in the living room and not so comfy. No welcome pack as promised. Did not manage to contact owner to confirm departure process despite repeated attempts.
None of the above would put us off visiting again, however addressing these issues would make our next stay even more enjoyable.
Very pleased with initial booking procedure and quality of Apartment. Met at Apartment by Petronella who was very pleasant and helpful with recommendations for our stay. Enjoyed watching the Flower Festival parade from our balcony. Location was superb for access to restaurants etc. Would certainly book again.
