Room was great and the hotel was great. Great fun location with lots of restaurants and activity around. Staff was incredible as well. Only negative is parking. Limited street parking and overnight parking is $30 at the closest garage.

Room was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner wasn't available at the hotel, which was a little bothersome. Parking was reasonable, honestly no different than when visiting a theme park resort.

I have been going to this Hyat at least once per year the last 3 years. The hotel is very nice, really well located. The pool are is great, the breakfast buffet is good and the staff very attentive. The only downside is the parking. There is no parking at the hotel and the area might be difficult to park, the street parking on the weekends is free but the week days no.

Great hotel BUT… Hotel is awesome. Cute area full of restaurants and shops. Staff is friendly, the room is clean, hotel modern, beds comfy. Sean at the free breakfast buffet is wonderful. I watched him run around refilling the buffet. He was on top of everything and with a smile on his face. No complaints about the hotel HOWEVER parking situation is horrendous. The hotel doesn’t have parking or valet. We were there Friday -Sunday to drop our child off at UF and there are no spaces. Our choices were a $35 garage which was full, a $10 garage which was far and had a bunch of homeless and unsavory characters lurking around it AND was also full or street parking which is few and far between. We circled for 45 min just to find a space on a busy Friday night. I didn’t deduct a star because that’s a city problem not a hotel issue. Just be aware on weekends if you need to park

The staff was amazing, everyone was incredibly kind. My issue is that there is no parking garage for guests so you have to either find street parking or pay for a parking garage. The AC did not work properly and the bathroom was not cleaned very well. I would not stay again strictly because of the parking situation.

Room was nice, spacious and modern. BUT...1) no water or ice station on my floor and NO provided water bottles when I checked in (water for sale though - go figure). This is just crazy to me. I had to go to another floor to get something other than tap water. 2) utterly terrible parking situation. No valet or parking garage on the premises. This should have been disclosed before purchase but was NOT - since you have to compete for street parking or park 2-4 blocks away. 3) no microwave in the room. 4) THE LITERAL SLOWEST ELEVATORS I HAVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL. This compounded the water problem since I took me like 10-15 minutes to get water from another floor and get back. I found myself waiting for an elevator for more time than it would have taken me to take the stairs. So, overall, it was nice but not REALLY nice and certainly did not meet the quality I expected from a newly built Hyatt. The lack of parking, slow elevators, lack of water and microwave all reek of late stage capitalism's typical move to increase prices while decreasing quality. It's like they tried to cut every corner that would save them money and not deliver the level of quality one would expect for the price.
