was not able to get to the hotel The only way to get toe the hotel from my house is using I-40 and they had it shout down do to a train derailment with hazmat material onboard

Don't judge this book by it's cover!
Ive stayed at this property atleast 7 times within a 2 yr stretch of passing through Gallup because the rooms have been remodeled & are clean, well kept. Dont expect a full scale remodel from old to all new, but from old to modern. Comfortable beds, quiet & well maintained.

The lobby looked nice. There was a problem related to the payment (charged extra) arrangements were through Expedia, ages of kids were entered, they claim no. Heat was good in room except for squirrel change made quite a racket. Floors were dirty. Some surfaces were dirty. If in the area again I’m pretty sure I would use a different hotel.
