Steps to the beach - New remodeled townhome - Ocean view

Newly updated cozy vacation home (1426 sqft) , close to Jamaica Beach with amazing views of the ocean. Access to a secluded beach that is ideal for a family vacation. 3rd-row beach house with ocean views from both levels of the townhome. Large windows and doors bring in plenty of natural light. All patio doors and windows are fitted with blackout curtains perfect for napping or resting in the middle of the day.

1st Floor: Entering the townhome you will find two bedrooms on the first floor. Both bedrooms lead to the deck facing the ocean with comfortable patio furniture. The washer and Dryer are located outside the bedrooms.

Master Bedroom on the 1st Floor: The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached master bath that has a jet tub providing a relaxing bath experience. The master bath leads directly to the deck with comfortable patio furniture that seats 5 adults. The deck is our favorite place in the house. Hear the ocean waves and enjoy the gulf view right from the deck.

Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished to sleep 4 adults and 2 children. The first bunk bed has a rollaway bed. It sleeps a total of 2 adults and 1 child at the top bed. The second bunk bed is a twin-over a full bed that sleeps 2 adults and 1 child at the top bed. The bedroom is also connected to the deck on the 1st floor.

2nd Floor – Living room/Dining/Kitchen: The second floor has a large living room with a new sofa that seats 7 adults comfortably facing a large screen TV with Roku. The living room also has a futon that converts to a bed. We have not included the Futon in the bed count that sleeps 8. Fully equipped kitchen- Pots and pans and all basic utensils are provided. Basic spices, Coffee corner (Coffee maker, ground coffee, paper coffee filters, sugar, and non-dairy dry creamer), Toaster, Waffle maker, crockpot. The refrigerator has an Icemaker.

Amenities:
- The Locked storage area on the ground level has a charcoal grill, beach chairs, and beach toys.
- Fully stocked kitchen with all basic utensils.
- We provide bath towels, linens, and pillows.
- Both TV’s are connected to Roku devices. Roku devices allow you to access Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, etc. Please note that you will need to need to use your personal accounts to log in to any of these apps on Roku.
- Free parking below the townhome.
- An outside shower with hot/cold water is available.

Dog friendly: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are considered with a non-refundable one-time pet fee ($100 for 1 dog, $150 for 2 dogs.
- The pet fee during reservation by default is set at $100. Please send me a message post reservation if you intend on bringing more than one dog.
- Pet rules
- 1. Dog must be house trained.
- 2. Please keep the dog off the couch, chairs, and beds.
- 3. Do not leave a dog unattended outside (excessive barking)
- 4. Clean up your dog waste.
- Check-in and Check-out: Check-in is at 4 PM and Check out is at 11 am. The lock code to the lockbox will be provided via text and email.

External Camera: There are two cameras outside the house for the safety of our guests. The first camera is a doorbell camera. The second camera is above the storage area.

House rules:

- No Prom, Graduation, or other large (more than the count of guests in the reservation) parties/events permitted. Count of guests in the reservation = max # of guests allowed on the property at any time.
- No smoking both inside and on the deck.
- Only children on the top of the bunk bed.

Family beach weekend

Location was perfect, such a beautiful home! It fit our family of 7 perfectly. Had everything we needed for a fun family vacation, family games and a beautiful view of the beach. Even our picky teens loved everything about the house and place! Definitely will be back!

An awesome spring break!

The property is clean and spacious. So close to the beach! We would go to the beach to watch the sunrise and play in the sand. We also come back when the sun is less intense. My kids enjoyed this vacation a lot.

Great Owner, decent house.

This property was suitable but not great like other reviews. I was optimistic because of the reviews, such as a few lights out in the master bath and the door not closing unless it was locked (annoying when taking a dog out). Overall the property is nice, in a good location, and the opener was extremely receptive and caring. He definitely adds lot of value to the place. There were good amenities such as beach chairs and lots of kitchen utilities to use. Overall, decent place just not up. to my standards for cleanliness.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay very much! Although this is a "third-row" house, the views of the water from the living, dining, and master bedroom are AMAZING! The neighborhood is quiet and it seemed we had the entire beach to ourselves. The furnishings need some updating, but overall the home is very nice and in a perfect location.

Fall in love with Galveston

We took a little family trip to celebrate my birthday. October in Galveston is magical. We loved the location out of the heavy tourist traffic, but close enough to eat at the best restaurants. The beach was very quiet and just a few steps from the house. The house was climate controlled, including humidity, and very comfortable. With three full bathrooms and a spacious living floor, there is more than enough room to spread out while you hang out. Looking forward to our next visit.

Communication with host was fast and friendly. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful view! Allowed my family time to reconnect stress-free. Remember to bring your heavy duty mosquito spray. The post-hurricane mosquitoes were NO joke! All in all, lovely getaway.

Nice home, close to beach! Two grills both rusted so could not use. I wish there was a broom and dust pan and kitchen towels just to keep clean while staying. Location great close to beach and small grocery both in walking distance. House was nice.

Just What the Doctor Ordered!

We had such a special time at our “home away from home” in Jamaica Beach. The Townhome was exactly what we needed and beach access is only a two minute walk. We absolutely loved walking up to the sunrise views and the home had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials to cook and the location of the kitchen is central which made it easy to enjoy family time while others were playing games at the table or in the living room. Loved the master bedroom windows and jacuzzi tub. The beds were comfortable. Kids loved the bunk beds in their room. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and has a really kind communication style. This townhome is ideal for one family with up to maybe 3 or 4 kids. We have two boys and felt the home was not too big for us yet everyone had their space to spread out and enjoy solitude too. We will return hopefully soon. Book it and enjoy!

Loved my stay.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable stay! My whole family (5) was very pleased and happy with our stay and slept well. It was so much better than a Hotel!! It sure was nice to have the 3 showers!! And they were very clean and beautifully updated showers and entire home! We didn’t have to wait and take turns like we use to at hotels Uhg…. And if a family of 8 stays you will surely have plenty of room. We would have had a family of 6 staying but my older son had to work. I know he would had loved they stay too. It was so nice to just walk to the beach and the rinse off after at the out side shower head it was so nice to have so we wouldn’t track in as much sand in the home. They supplied you with detergents and shampoo, conditioner, and. Body wash. And for the kitchen there is dish soap too. Very nice fridge and very clean inside and out. My only suggestions to the owner is maybe a pitcher to have. I’m a tea drinker and the kettle was a plus! But didn’t have a pitcher for ice tea. Maybe a small container too for if someone wants to Sun brew tea. And a dish for baking cinnamon rolls. That’s about all! The owner is very responsive big plus. She was very attentive and helpful! We loved our stay and would come again! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Perfect location

The townhome was perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, but close enough to enjoy all the amenities. Close to the beach with easy access. The house itself was well-appointed and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Even a tea kettle which you don't often find (and as a tea drinker I was most appreciative!). There were lots of sand toys and beach chairs to borrow including a handy cart to carry it all! Great communication with the owner. Definitely recommend!

A lovely weekend
