Frequently Asked Questions:
â What does the drive there look like? â Transparently, the drive up to the property can be steep and winding. However, the roads are paved and in the winter, they are plowed to ensure utmost safety. We do recommend arriving before sundown, as it can be uncomfortable/ scary to navigate in the dark. If you are terribly uncomfortable with driving on mountains, we will miss getting to host you and recommend another property. BUT, if you can try it out, the Cobbly Nob views and natural coziness are what make Gatlinburg the tried and true mountain destination.
â Is this property handicap accessible? â Sadly, no it is not. While there is a sleeper sofa on the first floor, the only full bathrooms are downstairs. As well, there are about six or so steps to enter the property itself.
â Do you need to bring your own linens? â No, no and absolutely not! Our promise to our guests is to provide consistency and to us, consistency means ensuring essentials. We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things!
â How many pets are allowed and is there a fee? â We will accept up to 3 pets, and a pet fee of $100 + tax per pet, applies. We want to make sure those pets get to stay with you, but that means we also understand there can be some hiccups. This fee is so that we can ensure our cleaners get paid for the little extra work furry family members require!
â Is there enough room for my pets to use the bathroom/ get exercise? â There are some small patches of grass in front of the property that should work if your animal is used to it. However, previous guests have needed to walk their pet around to the back for better usage. If this is the case, do note that walking to the back is a bit steeper. For exercise, there is a spectacular dog park 15 minutes away, located in Mills Park. We know the bathroom situation is unfortunate, but we want to make sure you and your pets have everything you need to have a wonderful stay⊠and that means honest expectations too!

Guest Access: Guest will have access to the entire cabin, hot tub, and community outdoor pool ( season pending).
I love the fact that the outside is rustic and looks like a small place. Then you walk in to a beautifully decorated house with a wonderful view. Cleanliness is above board on this diamond!! Very comfortable for four people. Bathrooms are awesome and CLEAN!!
Parking is limited and steep. One big car or two very small cars is suggested.
View was pretty. Liked the Scandinavian vibe the home has. Being able to bring our dog. Weather was prefect. Overall it was great way to celebrate our anniversary.
My wife and I stayed for a week mid Oct 2023. The cabin was as advertised! They literally had everything you might need. Blender, air fryer, mixer, utensils for the outdoor grill, coffee pot and keurig, etc. Hot tub worked great, beds were fine, huge shower/tub in one of the bedrooms. AWD vehicle highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.
The property is set in the mountains and is newly renovated and spacious. Thereâs a covered side porch and a balcony with a hot tub. They accept pets and for a pet friendly property it was mostly really clean. The main bath has a very nice large shower and bath tub for soaking. The second bedroom has its own bathroom and shower as well. We loved our stay the house was comfortable and inviting.
My husband and our 13 year old dog Duke spent a weekend at this property. The house was very well appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end cooking utensils which allowed for us to prepare a celebratory dinner during our stay. We actually considered extending our vacation because we were having such a great time. Sadly other guests were arriving on our checkout day. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.
The property was great! The scenery was amazing, especially from the hot tub on the back deck. The wood burning fireplace in the living room with a great view of the outside was a huge plus! And, the shower was bigger than most bathrooms. The property was close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy the solitude. Parking two cars was a bit difficult due to the location of the parking pad, but it did not take away from the great experience. Communication from the property management wasn't great, but everything ended up just fine.
We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was just what we needed to getaway & relax. Especially enjoyed the hot tub & the master bathroom shower. There were only two things that we had a problem with. Due to the way the pictures of the cabin were taken it was impossible to know that our parking area was not flat. Being as we are all seniors we all had problems getting in & out of the vehicles due to the incline. We also did not know we had stairs down to the bedrooms. That one was probably on us. But overall we enjoyed the cabin & the surrounding areas.
We thoroughly enjoyed our summer vacation at this mountain home! Served as a great central location for hiking the trails in the Smokies, our day trip to Gatlinburg, zip-lining at nearby ClimbWorks, and whitewater rafting with Smoky Mountain Outdoors. The Smoky Mountains view was spectacular! Very spacious for our family of 3 and senior dog.
The kitchen had all the necessary appliances to make breakfast and dinner for the family on days we felt like spending them inside and not in town. The hot tub on the deck was perfect to relax during the evenings. The property overall was modern and clean. The washer and dryer was a plus for me. Having that right inside the property sealed the deal for renting this beautiful cabin. I did have to contact property management twice one was something I did wrong and another was a maintenance issue. Both times they where quick to respond and fixed the issue quickly.
