Gracetown, Margaret River - perfect getaway house!

The Bay House is a newly built modern house situated on the hill with views overlooking Cowaramup Bay. With four bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms you have enough room to comfortably sleep two families. The perfect getaway house for your family and friends needing that quiet break or for those that know the secret treasures of Gracetown! All the while only a few minutes drive from famous Margaret River wineries and galleries, and its stunning local beaches and surf breaks.

Relax and enjoy the view in the main living area upstairs with solid American Oak flooring and ample natural light from the large windows & doors. Equipped with a comfortable lounge suite, ethanol fireplace and flat screen TV you will feel right at home. Open up the doors to the large balcony and let the outside in, whilst you cook the family meal in the large well appointed kitchen, complete with induction cooktop, electric oven, wine fridge and coffee machine. This open living area leads through to the master bedroom which houses a queen bed, has oodles of storage space and has an amazing and modern en-suite. All this plus your own private balcony and its stunning views over to the famous North Point surf break.

With multiple entertaining and relaxing areas this property really stands out and is perfect for the whole family. Enjoy the views while you relax in the quality outdoor furniture, and stay warm during those cooler autumn evenings by lighting the modern open fireplace. Downstairs has an alfresco BBQ area which is hidden from all the elements plus the large table setting is perfect for entertaining.

Downstairs is kept surprisingly cool with its sealed concrete floor that runs throughout the whole bottom level. Here you will also find yet another massive sitting room with a huge comfy lounge and 52 inch LED TV for those stay in movie nights. As you walk through the house you will come to the second and third bedroom both with Queen beds. The final fourth bedroom is complete with 1 bunk bed. Downstairs is serviced by the huge family bathroom which features a large bathtub.

It feels a bit run down and wasn’t worth what we paid for it.

We stay regularly in the Margaret River. We always rent houses that look comfortable and give us all the amenities to relax and stay in if we wish. The location is obviously great and we enjoyed the quiet small town feel. However, compared to other properties we have stayed at in a similar price range it didn’t stack up. The outside of the property is not cared for at all. If you have a family and just want somewhere to crash after a good surf, then this is a good property. If you are after a bit of a wow factor then I recommend going elsewhere. I’ve stayed in many other properties in this area that fit the type of stay they are trying to promote.

lovely stay for 3 couples

The space is well equipped to accommodate, we each had large rooms with queen beds. The kitchen had all the trimmings you could need. Bathrooms have shampoo and conditioner which is handy. Wonderful views of the ocean and lovely deck. Be aware, the fireplace is nice but is not a wood fire, so you need to fill it with ethanol which gives off a smell and some of us got a headache from.

Best weekend away !!

We had a blast at "The Bay House" My partner and I spent only 3 days at the house and didn't want to leave! we have already decided that we will be rebooking this house, on our next trip to Margaret River. The house was in the best location, it had beautiful beaches, Great surf! and it was a really quick drive to the wineries. **** I highly recommend this house to anyone !****

This house lived up to all our expectations! It was great. Gracetown is a beautiful little surf town and this house was perfect for our trip away!! So close to the wineries, Injinup natural Spa's and everything else The Margaret River region has to offer. We would definitely stay there again.
