River View House at Robby's Ranch in the Brazos

Beautiful 2040 sq ft house located on the Brazos River near Glen Rose. Fully furnished with comfortable beds and great kitchen. Very secluded location. The county road ends at our driveway. Very quiet. About the only 'human noise' you will hear is an occastional airplane flying over. Lots of wildlife to observe. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it. Great place for fishing, hiking or just relaxing. Located less than an hour away from the D/FW metroplex. A short drive to Dinosaur Park and many other attractions in the area.

House was great! Close to Glen Rose, and Granbury. All the attractions we wanted to attend were within 20 minutes of the house. River by the house was such a cool bonus. Kids loved it. House was clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for or need. I would booked again without question.

The home was cozy and the land was beautiful. Lots of deer and cattle in view from the living room window. Walk down to the river was easy. Husband enjoyed fishing. Kitchen had everything needed to make meals. Great time enjoying the outdoors with the family. Host communicated well. We will be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was clean and comfortable. The property is peaceful and beautiful. It’s close enough to everything Glen Rose has to offer, but secluded enough to feel like you’ve gotten away from everything! The highlight was watching my kids fish the river straight from the back yard. It was everything we’d wanted and then some!

Great Family Getaway

This was a great location for three adult couples. Plenty of room, easy to get to, close to both Cleburne and Glen Rose. My siblings, in-laws, husband and I had a great time. We grilled and we karaoked without disturbing anyone. Saw lots of deer too.

Great river access and views

Really enjoyed the prooerty and the solitude of the area. It was a super easy walk down to the river and enjoyed seeing turkey and deer out the window in the morning over coffee, owls and nighthawks in the evening.

Amazing!

This is our second time here. We stayed here three years ago, and it was just as amazing this time! So relaxing- lots of fishing- s’mores at the campfire each night- and just a lot of space to move around. Plenty of room for our two families to vacation comfortably together. We will be back!!

Family fun for all!

We love it at Robby’s Ranch! This is our 2nd time at River view house and love the location on the Brazos. Grandchildren saw wildlife, at s’mores by the fire pit and kayaked even in very cold temperatures:)

Excellent Stay - As Advertised

This place was wonderful. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. My wife and I brought our daughter and a few friends for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the river, the tire swing, 3 different deer visits, the kitchen, and the beds. I have nothing but good things to say about this visit. The only thing others should know is that this is off the beaten path. It took about 15 minutes to get into town, but that was understood by us and totally fine. We like the country. I would not hesitate to book this again. Great stay!
