Very central and quiet, the apartment is located in a small cul de sac in the heart of Grand Baie ,, from where you can reach all amenities within walking distance ..
The apartment is very private for togetherness as unreasonable located on all sides in the second floor with separate entrance.
The former fishing village of Grand Baie has developed into a tourist focal point and offers a number of restaurants, bars, cafes and snacks, as well as shopping centers, supermarkets and many typical local area.
Island tours and boat trips, water sports activities and you can book here.
The German / Mauritian owners live in a part of the house with you and are happy to assist you with your planning and other Fragen..3x comes a weekly cleaning power.

Grand Baie stay
The stay at Annette and Herve's place was fantastic! All the amenities were provided by out host and the apartment was so cozy! Annette even brought us fruits from her garden! I highly recommend them as host and hope we will be able to come again! Thank you from Laura.

Positives included clean, spacious apartment with terrace. The apartment was safe and well located. There’s a Super U and a bakery within easy walking distance and beaches are close by. Negatives included twin sheets on a king bed, a moldy smelling staircase leading up to the apartment ( no smell inside the apartment, however, ). The laundry machine was in the moldy staircase, and we didn’t want our clothes to smell like that so we didn’t use it. There is a mosquito issue in the evening that prevented us from using the terrace and there is an extra charge for the AC, which the owner did waive, since we had to stay inside and it was quite hot. With the AC and the fan the apartment was quite comfortable.

Wir waren 10 Wochen auf Mauritius. Unsere Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in unserer schönen Dachterrassen Wohnung . Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Objekt ist leider in die Jahre gekommen.
Ein neuer Anstrich und Reinigung der Küchenmöbel ist dringend nötig. Die Matratze ist extrem hart. Die Vermieterin hat daraufhin einen sogenannter Topper für die Matratze bestellt. Kamm nach nach 14 Tagen bei einem Aufenthalt von 30 Tagen. War für mich dann OK, für meine Frau immer noch nicht. Das vorhandene Geschirr etc. war ziemlich zusammengewürfelt und entsprach mehr einer Studenten WG und das bei einem Preis von ca. 90 €/Tag. Terrassenmöbel sehr durchgelegen und Auflagen schmutzig. Wohnung ist sehr geräumig. Schade, dass der Pflegezustand so schlecht ist. Nach meiner Rückkehr habe ich das gleiche Objekt bei Airbnb für 70 €/Tag zufällig bei einer Recherche für andere Objekte gefunden.

Tolles Apartment, super Vermieter die immer mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung standen
Wir können alles nur mit 5 Sternen bewerten, alles optimal. Apartment mit super Terrasse. 3 x wöchentlich Reinigung Das Apartment war mit allem erforderlichen ausgestattet. Die Vermieter super freundlich, Anette stand immer mit der erforderlichen Unterstützung bereit, Herve mit seinem Ausflugboot eine Wucht. So konnten wir die 3 Wochen ganz relaxt verbringen. Die Lage ist auch super, zwei Strände mit dem Auto innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen, Grand Baie zu Fuß in 5 Minuten auch der Supermarkt und die Bäckerei fußläufig in wenigen Minuten. Gute Lage und schönes Appartement
Vermieterin hatte unsere Ankunft vergessen, somit waren noch die Sachen des Vormieters da. Wurde dann fix sauber gemacht und so sah es dann auch aus wenn man mal schnell sauber macht. Viele Sachen waren nicht wirklich sauber oder leer. Seifenspender leer, Anti-Moskito Stecker alle leer etc. Gut kann ich als Mieter auch selbst kaufen, was wir auch getan haben, aber dann entsorge ich als Vermieter doch das leere Zeug. Toaster war auch defekt-haben wir dann nicht benutzt. Haben uns auch nicht die Mühe gemacht es vor Ort zu sagen oder zu klären, da die Vermieterin nach eigener Aussage wegen Neubau-Projekt ohnehin sehr gestresst war. Aber so defekte oder leere Sachen muss ich auch nicht ansprechen, da sich da die Qualität des Gastgebers zeigt, der sich um seine Sachen kümmert. Helle Möbel sehen halt, wenn nicht regelmäßig sauber gemacht, auch schnell schäbig aus. Dachten schon das es in ganz Mauritius so ist, war es aber zum Glück nicht und wir hatten noch 2 andere Objekte wo sich die Vermieter richtig gut gekümmert hatten mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten zum Einzug oder kleinen Gastgeschenken zur Abreise. Auch das erwarte ich nicht, zeigt aber die Qualität eines Gastgebers. An sich schönes Appartement nah zum Supermarkt. Einmal komplette Grundreinigung und dann wären es die volle Punktzahl.

Mit Guide sehr zu empfehlen
Für uns die perfekte Wahl für den Vormittag! Noch nicht zu heiß und dank der unzähligen Bäume ein märchenhaftes Wandeln im Spiel von Licht und Schatten. Für ein akzeptables Extra-Geld kann man sich direkt am Eingang einen Guide mieten, der einem viel über die Geschichte Mauritius und deren Pflanzenwelt erzählt. --> Leider sind kaum Infotafeln im Park aufgestellt, was es einem ohne Guide schwer macht die Pracht besser kennen zu lernen - daher als Empfehlung: MIT Guide! Ich hätte Tage dort verbringen können - der Artenreichtum ist faszinierend!
