Great Location!

We had a great long weekend stay! The property was a great location within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean and comfortable.

Welcoming Host and Wonderful Location

This is a lovely old home turned into two vacation rental apartments with nice off-street parking behind the house. The location is ideal for walking to all the downtown shops, restaurants, and canal. The apartment is very well-supplied with everything needed from laundry detergent to salt, pepper, and seasonings. Access to the upper apartment is private and includes two sets of stairs, 4-5 exterior steps to the porch and a steep, curved interior staircase up to the second story. We had my 78 year old parents with us and it was challenging for them, but fine for the rest of us. The house was mostly clean with some sweeping and cabinet door wiping down needed in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the large deck off of the kitchen. It has nice seating and views of the edge of downtown. The street is not high traffic, so it is a nice place to relax. The bathrooms are nicely updated and were clean. The attic is a fun space for kids and was clean and cozy and did not get too hot for sleeping with the windows and fans, along with some of the AC air making it up there. We appreciated the selection of games and extra bedding on hand. Thank you so much to LuAnn, the property manager, She was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this vacation rental.
