Amazing weekend
It was amazing the food, service from the bar the general ambiance, was really good but the bed ! Well my wife refused to get up to go to breakfast she felt so comfortable

Very old medieval and later era buildings. Only stayed one night but the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Carried our heavy bags through a labrynth of stairs and rooms. A chimney fire evacuated us in early morning but it was handle without furor and very cautiously. A big thank you to their staff.

A very good mix of old and modern. The beautiful old dining room and the bar are full of character. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The bathroom was stylish and spotlessly clean. I would love to have had longer to stay and enjoy exploring the area from the perfect base.
