This is gorgeous property and great location. I will say that I missed the notice that you can only have 2 cars for 8 guests so we did have some issues. This is also not a place at which you can have lots of visitors.
Pros:- Great location. - Big pier for mooring boatsCons:- Not recommended for summer (or Fall?) stay. We couldn't go upstairs (where 2 bedrooms are located) the first two days of our stay because it was so hot. No AC or ceiling fans... just a couple tiny fans that did nothing. (Property Management brought 2 box fans, but they didn't do much.) The main floor was tolerable, but we were all still dripping with sweat while sitting there. Luckily, storms came in after a few days and cooled things off.- The only curtains are some sheer curtains on bedroom windows. Otherwise, no curtains or shades anywhere.- The convection oven sounds like it's about to explode. Don't use it.- The stove burners can only be turned down so low, so it's hard not burning things.- We were required to do laundry and drive all the trash into a dumpster in town.- Upstairs bathroom door has a large gap that prevents privacy.- Maintenace workers used loud weedwackers and mowers around the property while we were present, rather than waiting until we left the property.- No fish are present near the pier.In summary, this property should not be rented until the items described above are addressed! We would have been more comfortable staying in a hotel.
This was a great property with stunning views. We were two families with four children ranging from 7-13 and the camp was perfect for us. Great location. Fabulous experience. Highly recommend.
