2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Our first problem was check-in, when we arrived, we were told that Travelocity did not pay for the tax, therefore, to get into the room we paid extra for tax of ~$7.00. Then we were told that the No Smoking room was not booked, yet it showed on our paperwork, which we had a printed copy. The first thing we noticed in our "No Smoking" room was burnt holes in our bedding, from cigarettes we assumed. The room also had a musty, smoky smell. My wife went to the office to inform them of our room condition, and they placed us in another room. The second room was a little better, but it still had a musty smell; we turned on the A/C unit and it helped some. There were other maintenance issues, which we put up with, because we only booked for one night.

The light in the bathroom didn’t work. The little coffee pot in the corner on the shelf had a lot of mold on top of coffee left over in the pot. There were stains on the bed covering.

The room was offered without a key. When we requested a room with a working key, we were upgraded to a room with dirty linens, a non-functional TV and unprofessional staff. We reserved for 3-nights, but left after 1 horrific night. We will never stay at Ecolodge again.
