House was very spacious, fully loaded kitchen, good bedrooms. Views outside are very scenic. Even though map says 12 mins walk from Grindlewald terminal station, but there is a short cut which take less than 2 min, may be not update on maps yet.

Swiss trip

We very much enjoyed everything about our stay in Grindelwald. The accommodation is perfectly located and has all one needs during a stay. The water pressure was excellent and the views magnificent. I loved my morning coffee on the balcony!

Nice location

This apartment could be great with a few modifications: - a shorter shower curtain that would actually dry and not be moldy - slightly thicker towels - didn't think they made such thin towels - WiFi - this should be a basic service in this day and age It's a really nice apartment in a good location

cozy and good location

The accommodation was 5 minutes away from the station, so it was easy to move with my parents. There were many cooking utensils, so it was good to cook. The water pressure was very good. The terrace view is great, not to mention. One disadvantage is that there is no Wi-Fi.

This place would be great with a few small adjustments - a new shower curtain that isn't too big for the tub so it never dries; slightly nicer towels - I don't know where one could find such thin towels; and WiFi.

Decent apartment

Good apartment, well located near the station and on the main road with a great view. Doesn't have wifi, microwave, washing machine which are pretty basic items. All in all a good apartment

Points faibles : Communication
Great location, very close to Terminal train station, but do note, this it outside of the main town of Grindlewald. You need to take the train or local bus into the main part of town. Apartment was spacious and clean. Beds were very firm and included 1 pillow per person. One shower towel and hand towel also included per person. Bring your own shampoo, etc. for shower.Kitchen was very well equipped however no basic cooking supplies like oil, salt, or pepper. We liked having the raclette set (fondue set also included, although we did not use it). Dishwasher pods, dish soap, two dish towels and a small roll of paper towels were included. The location is directly on a busy street. In the summer, it is necessary to have the widows open (no A/C) - so bring earplugs for sleeping. No screens on the windows so there's lots of annoying flies. There is wifi available, but the information is not included with all the welcome materials. Find the modem and the password is listed ontop. The host did not respond to any messages sent through the system. This was frustrating considering I asked about the 300 franc deposit to be paid at check in. No one was there to collect this money, so we did not have to pay. I also asked about dropping off our bags early, to which I received no reply. All in all a nice stay, but zero communication prior to check-in (or after) was a bit concerning.

Check-in was very quick and efficient with a keylock. Although we were told that we would need to pay a deposit of 300 CHF in cash, we didn't have to in the end. There was a misunderstanding when we arrived and wanted to park in reverse, and the elderly couple living beneath the apartment came rather annoyed, knocking on the window angrily, because they preferred that we park forward-facing. I think this could have been communicated in a much calmer manner, we didn't mean to do any harm, and turned around when we understood what they wanted. The location of the apartment is perfect if you are coming to ski, the Grindelwald Terminal along with the Eiger Express and the Männlichenbahn are 2 minutes away on foot. The apartment itself is a bit dated but it offers excellent value for the price, it is spacious with two bedrooms, a living room and multiple terraces, and the kitchen is very well equipped with utensils. One thing that was surprising was the lack of shower gel in the bathroom, I don't even remember when I rented out last an apartment where there was no shower gel.On the last day, the couple living below kindly lended us a snow shovel to free our car as there was heavy snowing during the night.Overall I'm happy to recommend this house to anyone coming to the Jungfrau region. Some reviewers were annoyed with the noise of the main road but I think it is a bit exaggerated, it was nothing severe.

Mooie woning, gedateerd ingericht.

Good location / Buena situación

Cozy apartment for a family to visit the area. A little bit old fashioned furniture but clean. Noisy at first hour in the morning because of the main road passing nearby. Owner living downstairs very kind.
