A Little Goes a Long Way

It was easy to maneuver on the property. Access to the beach was quick and easy. I was disappointed in that my room was described as "Deluxe Garden View King". It was far from that. My view was men working on construction from 8 am to 8 pm. My television did not wotk and had to be switched out. I had issues with the safe. I had to call the front desk to ask for washcloths. Overall, I paid too much money for what I received.

The rooms were relatively clean. The beach was lovely. Some staff were helpful. There are a lot of facilities that are not functioning or removed. The garden view is a construction view.

The hotel had good location but there were issues relating to the hotel. There is currently construction work on the site of the hotel which was very disturbing. Upgrade was given after complaining about the disturbance. The hotel had issues with water where there was no water on site for several hours in the morning. The menu was set with the same food except for one day a week, which was not a positive thing. Breakfast was alot better. Staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating on issues after complaining that the cleaning staff had taken items from our room.

The beach by Bay Gardens was excellent for kids to play. The obstacle course was excellent for the whole family. Overall ideal place to take the entire family including babies

Mediocre and over priced

We stayed here for the night after staying at Bay Gardens Inn. The room was nice but sink was broken,TV didn't work view said garden but it was of a construction site. Would not spend the money on this hotel. It is not in great condition and you don't even get the mediocre breakfast included. I would stay at the inn and just use the pool and beach at the resort. Didn't even recognize the vip status and had ask them about the discount.

We stayed 7 days with our 3 children. The accommodations were above what we expected. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful and patient with us. Savannah in the dinning area was exceptional and always brought so much joy to us. The grounds were always kept tidy and clean of debris. The food was so good we overate every single meal. 10 out of 20. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. It was our first time at St. Lucia and we felt very welcomed. Everyone was kind. The resort itself was a bit smaller and in average condition, a bit on the older side; however, the beach view and sunsets make up for it. The "Hi-Tide Restaurant" was great! We had a large selection of food and drinks to choose from. Staff was friendly, specifically Savaennah. The resort also offered live entertainment, which complemented the dining experience. Would definitely recommend for a more lowkey vacation. Thank you Bay Gardens!

While the staff at the property were friendly and attentive, our overall experience was affected by poor communication with management, which caused several setbacks. The food was disappointing often too salty, bland, or served cold which led us to dine off-property at times. Although breakfast was the highlight of the meals, the overall menu was limited, repetitive, and many items were unavailable. Unfortunately, the dining experience did not meet our expectations.We reported that the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, and it took three days and a second complaint for the issue to be addressed. Additionally, despite informing the hotel of our early arrival, we were made to wait over five hours for our room, even after a long and exhausting flight. After raising concerns, we were given an upgrade, but it did little to make up for the inconvenience.

A Hotel Trying to Parade As a High-End Resort

The Bay Gardens was an adequate stay for us. Nothing extraordinary. It was a 3 star hotel trying to pass off as a 4 star resort in our opinion. We were disappointed that Bay Gardens and the rooms did not match our expectations with the posted pictures. The rooms were clean and all. Nothing wrong there. But the bathroom had a musty smell all the time which we didn't enjoy. And the bedroom would get so hot and humid. And being next to the bathroom, when the AC works, that musty smell would get into the bedroom. It's just not a high-end resort as they try to project. And we think it was over-priced for the quality. We will not return to this resort again, not in the condition it is in. They are building some new extensions to the place. Maybe those will be better.
