Enter your cosy holiday home, make yourself comfortable in the living room and organise games evenings with the family. The wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere, especially on cooler evenings. The open-plan kitchen is functionally equipped and allows you to prepare your own meals. Enjoy your meal at the rustic dining table or relax on the bench by the window with a view of the greenery. The two armchairs with the fabulous view of the lake are sure to become your favourite spot in this house.



Go out and explore the extensive grounds. The spacious terrace also offers you a marvellous view of the lake. Use the garden furniture for breakfast in the fresh air or relax in the deckchairs. There is a fire pit and seating area right by the water. A boat is at your disposal so that you can explore the lake on your own.



A short drive takes you to Grythyttan with many sights and good restaurants such as MÄltidenshus and Grythyttans GÀstgiveri. You can also discover the beautiful Silverleden hiking trail and several nature reserves nearby. Hjulsjö, which is known for its beautiful and many mountain bike trails, is not far away.

Great Swedish week

We had a great week at Bovik. The vuew from the house is stunning! We had a daily swim in the lake and enjoyed all the different seats at the cottage. The area will all the mining history and possibilities to hike made our Swedush week complete!'

Amazing view and calm atmosphere

The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. It has that special charm of a Swedish weekend cottage by the lake and lets you quickly forget the stress of everyday life. The view of the lake is outstanding, which I imagine to be a big highlight even in bad weather. We had 10 days of sun and, even under the conditions, enjoyed the view of the lake at breakfast. Later, when it got warm, we pushed open the glass windows – everything was taken care of. The owner is nice, available and takes care of you. We brought a few things to complement the kitchen, but actually everything is there. We like to have particularly sharp knives etc. and always take them with us
. The water heater in the bathroom works well; so does the shower; The toilet is of course special, but it didn't bother us at all; neither does it smell. Nothing is missing outside of the cottage either - right down by the water is a beautiful platform with sun loungers; next to this an additional barbecue area with table and seating. Grythyttan is nearby, a very nice little place with a small boutique, ice cream and shops. We usually cooked and ate by the lake...it couldn't have been nicer.
