Sun, sand, ocean. Enjoy the sun and the ocean in the Canary Islands with more hours of sunshine than in Europe. The location of the apartment allows car-free holidays: the beach is about 10 minutes walk away, a supermarket around the corner. It is located in a small quiet complex with swimming pool on the edge of the tourist area of ​​Los Gigantes. Excursions exist u. a. to the cliffs of Los Gigantes or Alcalá.
The apartment "LUNA" is located in 2. Row by the sea and offers fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the opposite island of La Gomera. A rental car is not necessary as there are restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The apartment offers 50qm on 2 floors and is divided into kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a bedroom. The apartment is bright and modern. Both terraces are south-facing and provide sunshine almost all day long. The kitchen is equipped with all the essential utensils and appliances such as fridge, oven and hobs and washing machine. The bedroom is furnished with a large closet and double bed. The living room has a large sofa bed on the two other people can sleep comfortably and a TV with satellite TV.
For your safety, we have now also installed smoke detectors in all floors.
Guests have access to a large communal pool.

--- General situation ---
Located on the sunny southwest coast of Tenerife, there is sunshine all year round with temperatures rarely below 23 degrees. Even swimming is possible in winter, because the water of the Atlantic hardly drops below 20 degrees. The summers are dry, but not too hot, as a breeze refreshes the air.
The neighboring former small fishing village Alcalà has not lost its primal charm. Here you can still feel the touch of the Spanish way of life, far from mass tourism and loud disco music.
Within walking distance you can reach all the local amenities. Supermarket, small shops, pharmacy, post office, banks, hairdresser, fresh fish, bakery. Similarly, there is a polyclinic in the village.
Every Monday is on the central market square in Alcalà weekly market. Fresh fruits and vegetables, local wine or handicrafts are available in the best quality. There are also a number of tapas bars, cafés and restaurants.

Best location, great for a couple, pricey, needs updating, friendly helpful owners, we'll be back!
Excellent location; views, if clear, of La Gomera and La Palma. Development largely well cared-for & clean. Duplex flat, external lift to 3rd floor. Bedroom, bathroom with large shower & washing machine on 4th. Not recommended for more than two people, except perhaps additional baby, for which some items provided. WC on lower floor is useful. Very well-equipped, though now looking rather dated and in need of some renovations. Salad spinner provided on request. Full size dishwasher. Small fridge with freezer "section". Hob & oven fine. Salt & pepper but few other consumables. Lots of cleaning equipment but few cleaning products. Plenty, although an astonishing range, of mismatched cutlery. Adequate amount of crockery. Plenty of glasses & just enough mugs & cups for two. Bedroom curtains not thick or wide enough to block out light. Standard double comfortable bed. Two single duvets, but only 3 uncomfortable pillows - we folded up the spare duvet to use as well. Bedlinen again a hotchpotch; only 1 of 3 duvet covers fitting. Just enough towels, only one swimming towel. Clothes washing & drying facilities fine. No cockroaches(!), and only a few small ants. Our last rental was full of them both. No horrible open drain holes which we see (& smell) in many Canarian properties. Bathroom & WC "windows" do not have fixed glass. Instead there are (unfixed) fly screens & internal glass panels which don't entirely cover the window area. In a strong wind with the resulting dust storm from the waste ground behind and beside the building, there is no way to prevent dirt from blowing in. It comes under the door as well. Shower plastic stay not really up to the job. Owner repaired it but we had to do more. Bathroom door will blow open in the wind, but locks from inside. Lovely proper swimming pool, ~25m; this & the sunbathing area are regularly cleaned. Balconies face W not S per description; no sun in Dec/Jan/Feb till 1230-1300. Top balcony small with a sofabed covering 1/3rd of the space. Main balcony has a table & a varied selection of upright chairs. No loungers/recliners. Pullout washing line useful. Manually operated awnings. Traffic noise not a problem except for weekly recycling collections (night-time 0200). Living area has two single folding sofabeds, not very comfortable, though there are many cushions. TV & WiFi work most of the time; selection of UK & other stations. Many restaurants & shops within easy walking distance. Car not necessary.

Location, Location, Location
Thoughtfully and comprehensively equipped duplex apartment, so two balconies facing the sea, with views of stunning sunsets over the island of la Gomera. In addition to the descriptions of the surrounding facilities (super pool, etc., etc., as described below), there is a magnificent, newly constructed promenade between the banana plantations and rugged coast line, just below the apartment, stretching for 3 miles (5 km) where the experienced surfers gather and ride on top of the spectacular breakers. As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed the locality of the apartment as offered by the delightful small town of la Arena and beyond.

Great flat with fantastic view and free parking. Close to Arena beach and bars/restaurants. Bus stop at top of road towards los gigantes or lo cristianos. Fully equipped flat for a self catering holiday :-)

The apartment has been well maintained, clean, and has been refurnished (mostly Ikea) well equipped kitchen, new microwave,TV, wifi,. We were there in Jan 2016. Comfortable memory foam bed. Plenty of bedding, towels etc. Bus, supermarket, beach, all within 10 minute or less walking. Neighbours were quiet, Good size pool. Restaurant open 10AM to 11ishPM. Music twice a week but not overly loud. We used the buses for travelling. 10 mins to los Gigantes,45 mins to los Cristianos. Coastal walks. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the apartment for 2/3 people, 4 at a squeeze. The owners answered emails promptly, their local on-call manager was also helpful in answering any questions. Beautiful ocean views fron upper and lower balconies. Faces west. so full sunshine from midday..

Von Dany haben wir genaue Anweisung über die Anreise und das auffinden des Schlüssels bekommen. Während des Aufenthaltes haben wir nicht kommuniziert. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen gut. für mehr als zwei Personen ist die Wohnung zu klein. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist bequem aber schmal(140m) Im Wohnzimmer gibt es zwei Futon Sessel, die als „Sofa“ dienen und unbequem sind. Wir hatten diese dauerhaft ausgeklappt gelassen.Der untere Balkon ist sehr schön und ab Mittags sonnig. Der obere Balkon hat ein Futon Bett worauf man sich am Nachmittag sonnen kann. Der Meerblick und der Sonnenuntergang ist phantastisch. Es gibt reichlich Besen und Eimer, leider war der Staubsauger sehr schmutzig und randvoll mit Dreck. Bei fünf Wochen Aufenthalt wäre ein Staubsaugen schön gewesen, aber es gibt schlimmeres.Wir waren mit unseren kleinen Hund da. Die Menschen sind sehr nett, in den Restaurants konnten wir ihn überall mit rein nehmen. Leider ist an den meisten Stränden Hundeverbot, der nächste sehr schöne Hundestrand ist in El Médano etwa eine Autostunde von der Wohnung entfernt. Zur Anlage gehört ein sehr schöner Gemeinschaft Pool und der sehr nette Hausmeister hält die Anlage gut in Schuss. Leider ist auch in der Pool Anlage Hundeverbot. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, würden aber die Wohnung für die jetzt geltenden Preise nicht noch einmal buchen.

Digitale Normaden unterwegs
Wir wollten 4 Wochen in der Sonne leben und arbeiten, das war in Danys Unterkunft sehr gut möglich. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir konnten an zwei getrennten Arbeitsplätzen (Wohn- und Schlafzimmer) arbeiten, ohne uns gegenseitig zu stören. Dany hat uns noch zwei Monitore organisiert, die unsere Arbeit sehr erleichtert haben. Wir waren mit der Internetverfügbarkeit zufrieden. Auch neben der Arbeit haben wir die Zeit in der Wohnung sehr genossen. In der kleinen Küche ist alles da was man zum Kochen benötigt. Die zwei Balkone sind megaschön und der Sonnenuntergang atemberaubend. Der Pool ist groß und sehr sauber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

wunderschöne Wohnung mit phantastischem Meerblick
Ich war 3 Wochen in der Wohnung und hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sowohl Ausstattung & Lage sind toll. Das Apartment liegt ruhig am Rand des Ortes aber alles (Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants) ist fußläufig erreichbar. Da die Busse in alle Gegenden der Insel fahren, bin ich gut ohne Auto zurecht gekommen. Die Kommunikation mit Dany war sehr freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert.

Fantastic Seeview!
We stayed one week in the apartment. It was very comfortable. Everything you need is in the apartment. The location is in a very calm district and no trafic at all. There are two balconys with fantastic seaview. There is a supermarket ca 300 m from apartment. Its about 10 min walk to the beach Playa Arena and there yoy can find a lots of restaurants. We liked it and can stay there again if we come back to Tenerife. John and Marianne, Sweden
