The Space:

Inside, the open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area welcomes you with a breezy, relaxed feel. The living room features a cozy couch and love seat facing a smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. The adjoining kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, crisp white cabinetry, a single-cup and drip coffee maker, and a counter area for three—ideal for casual breakfasts. A dining table for six invites everyone to gather for shared meals, while a full-light door opens to a balcony with a table for four and calming lagoon views. Step outside to the spacious waterfront deck with comfortable seating, or head down to the patio, where a private boat slip, grill, and hammocks await—creating the ultimate space for relaxing, cooking out, and soaking in the peaceful beauty of Gulf Shores.

We had such a beautiful experience at this beach house. The space was clean, cozy & set up for relaxation and our family. You can feel how much care went into this property, from the comfortable beds to the thoughtful nature field guide books tucked into the drawers. The location was ideal. A short walk to the beach with plenty of local charm nearby. We loved sitting outside watching the water and wildlife change throughout the day. Communicating with the host was easy and friendly. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. It felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again. Our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old granddaughter loved playing in the sand in the backyard. I hope we get to stay here again on our annual family fall break. It was such a lovely experience!

We enjoyed our time at Bonnie Dune. House was very well equipped for our two week stay. The location is good. Views off the deck are gorgeous! You overlook the lagoon and have beautiful sunsets. We would stay again if we are ever back in Gulf Shores.

Coastal perfection

We loved our week at the Bonnie Dune! Perfect quiet safe neighborhood and a short walk to the absolutely gorgeous beach. Fishing off the dock in the mornings and watching the sunsets in the evening was so nice. The house is very well laid out and has just the right beachy decor to make you really feel like you're on vacation. The separate Sandy bottom apartment was great for privacy and there's plenty of space upstairs for the whole family to hangout. So glad we chose this place!

Mr. David had a beautiful home! The down stairs living part was awesome. The upstairs was open and spacious. The outside space was so relaxing! The decor was light and beautiful. They thought of everything to accomidate families with kids! So close to everything. Highly recommended for any family! We had an absolute blast and will definitley rebook!

Relaxing and Peaceful

We enjoyed every minute at Bonnie Dune/Sandy Bottom! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a beautiful property and comfortably furnished. We spent most of our time on the decks, playing in the sand of the “private backyard beach”, swinging and napping in the hammocks. We also enjoyed the convenience (just a short stroll away) of Pier 33 Grocery which includes an upstairs coffee shop. Walks to the beach using the wagon provided made the trips easier. David and Paula have furnished items to make you feel right at home. It’s a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to several eateries and a short car ride to many other places of interest. It’s the perfect location!

Super quiet location overlooking the lagoon. Our younger kids loved having the sand to play in, and the boat dock to catch hermit crabs in everyday! We loved the seatng area under the deck. It was so peaceful. The extras that were provided were great. There was a beach wagon and umbrella that we used everyday, and were so greatful to have use of them. We would recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you have littles.

Adorable and peaceful!

We loved our stay here. The house is even cuter in person. Feels very clean and well taken care of. Had everything we needed and more. We loved all the beach accessories we had access to. The outdoor space is where its at though. Nestled between two locally owned homes it made for quite a serene stay. We loved the night lights, hammocks and calm water. Had one hiccup but the owner was right on it and fixed the issue in less than 10 minutes. There is also a market right on street. We loved that. If youre looking for a reasonable home, reasonably priced for a medium sized fam this is the spot. My only fall back was the beach was a bit further walk than expected and parking for beach is 15 a day. At no fault to the owners. Just something to make note of. Thanks for letting us stay at Bonnie Dune.

Stunning Property

Can’t rave about this property enough. Everything from check in to check out was smooth and as described. David gave all the information needed in a timely manner and made sure we were happy with the accommodations. The highlight of the house has to be the open floor plan and the AMAZING porch and backyard. All the space you could ever want with stunning sunsets. On top of that we even caught a few crabs in the bay! Can’t wait to come back again!!

This is our second time staying at this property. The location is excellent. The home has everything you need. Close beach access and convenience store down the road. David is great at answering any questions you may have. Loved waking up and enjoying the patio overlooking the little lagoom!

Great location relaxing home

The house was clean and spacious. Outside area was relaxing and loved using the crab traps. Beach supplies were very helpful. Used the grill frequently and all of the utensils we needed were available. Walk to the beach was fine. Loved our stay!!

Beautiful property

This house was perfect for our family. It is in a great location just off of the Main Street (182) but still walking distance to the beach. What we enjoyed most was the backyard. A very relaxing environment plus a sandy backyard with a dock. Our family was able to enjoy the water and kayak right from the house.

Beach Without the Beach

Bonnie Dune is located far enough from hot spots to be quiet but close enough to easily access activity. Because of the sand in the back area you have the feel of always being at the beach. The main living area is exactly as described by VRBO and very comfortable. Great for two couples. The little apartment downstairs, Sandy Dune, would be fine for teenagers but is not nearly as nice as upstairs. I will add the public beach is a distance. The owner was great to work with.

Home away from home

My family and I had to evacuate from our city because of hurricane Ida and we were blessed to have found this place! Very beautiful property and great communication with the owner! The owner has a huge heart and was absolutely amazing to us! Wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Thanks again!
