Arrived to not having a parking pass that we paid for in the condo. Reached out and after a little bit of back and forth was told to inform the security as they wouldn’t be able to get us one till the next day, which they did. Day 2 was fine, other than the large water bugs in the elevator lobby and the pool being closed. Day 3 went down hill. 8:30am I’m in the shower, kids are getting ready for the beach with the spouse. Someone knocks once, then proceeds to enter the condo. Condo has no interior latch to prevent intrusion. It was a realtor & 3 people. 8:30am on vacation and they tried barging into the condo. Luckily my spouse was there to stop them. Realtor said they would only be a minute, spouse refused as children were literally in the process of getting changed. Told us they would come back. Little did we know this meant 15 minutes later, same deal, one knock and then proceeds to enter the condo without consent. There was no phone call, email, or even a text message telling us they would be showing the condo that WE were currently renting. Every state in America has a 24 hour notice policy! Plus it’s a vacation rental and they attempt to enter at 8:30am! Needless to say it traumatized my smaller children and made the rest of the day terrible as they thought people were just going to randomly come in. They all had terrible nights sleep that evening due to this, so we ended up leaving very early the next morning. This could have all been avoided!
