The Lighthouse is one of Gulf Shores' newest and the most popular rental complexes. Offering breath-taking views of the Gulf, beautiful white sand beach, larger and more deluxe units than the norm and a top amenity package. The unit is beautifully and professionally decorated with all the comforts of home, including DVD/large (70” in living room) High Definition, Flat Screen TV's in every room, jacuzzi bath tub, granite counter tops, a full two bedrooms /two baths and an additional bunkroom (includes tv/dvd and a door on the room) which is great for the kids. Lighthouse offers a great location, within walking distance to numerous restaurants and activities.

Lighthouse offers two beautiful outdoor pools (one with zero entry and water spouts, indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna, barbeque grills, fitness room, covered entrance/lobby, covered parking, and much more!

Gulf Shores Condo

The views were beautiful. The condo was nice, the pools were great and the beach was beautiful The TV’s DVDs are very difficult to use. Way too many remotes. The mattress in the master needs to be replaced. There is a big dip in it. Upgrade the pots and pans.

Spacious Condo - dirty & needs updated

Our first trip to Gulf Shores, I reserved the stay at LightHouse from a recommendation. At check in, we were made to feel like a nuisance instead of a guest. Communication was brief and we were left to figure out the property on our own. Middle elevators are the way to go, the side elevators are HOT & slow. We received clear communication ahead of time on how to get into the room. The room was ready when we arrived. The condo looked good when we walked in, spacious, just what we needed for our week there. When we started looking closer, the condo was DIRTY! The master had not seen a vacuum. Sand, dirt, fuzz, etc. were all around the rug under the bed & sand on the bottom bed frame. Behind bed were tissues & wrappers. The other bedroom had trash behind the head board. Mattress is old and needs replaced, very worn out. There were hair/dust balls floating around the pantry. The wall clock, headboards & dressers & tables had not seen a duster in forever. The silverware drawers were dirty! We used some plastic silverware & paper plates due to the filth. Under the sink was gross and slimy around the drain stopper. The condo needs updated, showers are from the 90's, shower faucets are terrible & mold around the master shower & ceiling. The bunk room is a nice addition but my girls didn't use it because the beds had sand in them. Owner was responsive and took care of issues right away. I think the room needs major cleaning and bathrooms overhauled.

Disappointing. Do not rent this condo!

First, the Lighthouse building, staff, pool, parking & beach access are all great! Unit 805 was a disappointment on many levels. Traveled to Gulf Shores to meet with 8 other families who rented 8 separate condos at Lighthouse for the weeks. 805 was by far the most expensive but also worst for many reasons after we all toured each condo. Requested a 25% refund from Mike the owner but he declined. Threatened me with a bad renter review for complaining and attempted blackmail. Mike is full of excuses even when sent pictures & videos. Said most of our complaints is what you get when the cleaning crew only has a few hours to clean so many condos. Implying our expectations should be lower. Save the headache & stay elsewhere. Below is a snapshot of items. - Extensive mold surrounding master shower, walls and ceiling. Owner offered to have someone come back & clean the condo again, we declined not wanting a stranger there while we were not with our valuables or wasting beach time watching them do the job they didn’t do the first time. - Worn, small, uncomfortable living room furniture. - Bathroom fan sounds like a lawn mower. - Cheap, small & uncomfortable patio set. - Leaky kitchen sink into a moldy bowl. - Terrible kitchen utensils, plates & bowls. - No Keurig. Owner said there was one but claimed someone must have stolen it. - Dirty towels in laundry, dirty dishes in dishwasher & trash in bathroom can at checkin. - More items but out of characters to type.

Amazing

My daughter and I booked a week at the lighthouse. It was a great condo with great views. The condo was very clean. The pools were great. Security made rounds to check all the people at the pool for wrist bands which made us feel good knowing they kept the area well monitored. The beach is private so it's not over crowded. We will be back next year. 5 out of 5 stars.
