Disclosure: We all loved the house, the setting, our host and the entire experience! In fact, there is not a single negative that would make our Top 100 comments. This being said, if someone is desperately seeking palatial, party areas, he or she should probably avoid Fort Morgan altogether. However, if anyone is looking for an idyllic adventure in the glories of Nature... amidst a calm, quiet, friendly community, you have found the perfect place! The house is just a few steps from the Gulf and our dining spot on the front deck provided perfect views and soothing sounds. "Peach on the Beach" flows wonderfully... for that eagerly-sought and most refreshing time at the beach. The kitchen is well-stocked with core utensils, the beds are very comfy; in fact, everything works like it is supposed to work, including the outdoor shower that is the perfect first stop after returning from the salt and sand. My teen girls and their friend had their own spaces upstairs, including spectacular views from their private verandah. Also, there's a quaint little restaurant and ice cream shop at the marina overlooking the bay, just two minutes away. And, the historic Fort Morgan is only a five minute drive; it is truly worth exploring. From there, one can also take a ferry (with dolphins jumping alongside) over to Dauphin Island. Lastly, our host was wonderful and so very helpful; she's the absolute best! "Peach on the Beach" is so well named; and, our dogs want to move there!
