Water + Woods features both a Treehouse and Bunkhouse, creating the perfect getaway for families, groups, nature lovers, and guests looking for a unique Gulf Coast experience surrounded by nature.
The Treehouse comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests and features queen-over-queen bunk beds upstairs, creating a cozy and fun sleeping space. Please note that the sleeping area is located upstairs and there is no elevator, so guests must be comfortable using stairs.
The Bunkhouse sleeps up to 8 guests and includes two sets of queen-over-queen bunk beds along with one full bathroom. Please note that the Bunkhouse does not have unlimited hot water, so larger groups may need to stagger showers accordingly.
Large windows throughout the property bring the outdoors in, while the surrounding woods create a calm, secluded atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, boating, golfing, or exploring Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
Because Water + Woods is located on 10 wooded acres, guests may encounter local wildlife common to the area, including deer, coyotes, raccoons, frogs, birds, insects, snakes, and other native animals. The property is designed to embrace the natural environment, and guests should use caution and respect wildlife throughout their stay.

• No parking is allowed on the road at any time. All vehicles must be parked inside the gated property.
• Guests should use caution around the pond, wooded areas, wildlife, and uneven natural terrain.
• Quiet hours and respect for the surrounding nature and neighboring properties are appreciated.
Water + Woods offers the perfect balance of peaceful privacy and convenient access to beaches, entertainment, restaurants, golf, sports complexes, and outdoor adventures throughout Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
**Please note that during rainy weather, the road leading to the property may become wet and develop potholes.

Pet Friendly 🐾
Pets are welcome with prior approval from management. A maximum weight limit of 20 pounds applies.
A non-refundable pet fee of $175.00 plus applicable taxes is required. Please note that the online quote does not include the pet fee. Once your pet is approved, the additional $175 fee will be added to your reservation, and you will receive an updated receipt reflecting the total charges.
Pets may not be left unattended in the Treehouse or Bunkhouse unless they are securely crated. If left alone inside the property, pets must remain in a crate at all times.
For your convenience, we provide waste bags for cleaning up after your pet. Please be sure to pick up all pet waste while on the property.

Water + Woods is professionally managed by Island Rentals, LLC, based in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Water + Woods is both a lodging property and an event venue. Weddings, receptions, parties, reunions, and other events are permitted only when booked directly through the venue and approved in advance. Overnight reservations do not include event rights. Any gathering, celebration, or event must be separately coordinated and contracted through Water + Woods prior to arrival.

Please note that Water + Woods is located in a rural area near Gulf Shores International Airport, and guests may occasionally hear small aircraft overhead or distant sounds from neighboring properties, including an infrequently used private shooting range.

​​​​​​​Important Plumbing Notice: Water + Woods utilizes a grinder pump system. Only toilet paper may be flushed. Please do not flush wipes (including "flushable" wipes), feminine hygiene products, dental floss, paper towels, tissues, or any other items, as these can cause the system to fail and result in costly repairs.

What is provided during your stay: Linens are provided, as well as a starter set of amenities that will typically last for the first 24 hours of your stay. The amenity starter pack includes the following items: one miniature bottle of dishwashing liquid soap, paper towels, trash can liners, toilet paper, bath soap, and one hand soap in each bathroom. The treehouse has 4 towels, 4 washcloths, 2 hand towels and 1 bathmat. Sheets, pillowcases and quilts are provided for each bed.

What we recommend you bring: Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hairdryer, napkins, condiments, spices, dishwashing liquid, coffee, beach towels, umbrella, beach toys, sunscreen, bug spray and anything else you may need for your perfect vacation.

Peace of Mind: This property is clean, sanitized, and ready for your stay. Your health, safety, and comfort are our top priorities. We use commercial-grade sanitation products and replace all quilts and shams between guests so you can relax and enjoy your vacation with confidence.
For security purposes, this property is monitored by 8 exterior cameras with both audio and video recording capabilities. The cameras remain active during all reservations and are located in the parking area behind the Treehouse, on a tree located on the east side of Gate 1, and around the north side of the pond. There are no cameras inside the Treehouse, Bunkhouse, or any private guest areas.

The primary guest booking is required to provide a copy of a government-issued photo ID, a selfie for identity verification, and a signed rental agreement. Renter must be 25 or older, present at check-in, and staying in the unit. No refunds for reservations made under false pretenses.
