Average motel in need of some updates

Location is great on the outskirts of town, so it was quiet and has nice outdoor areas for lounging around. Friendly service and a clean room, albeit a little dated. The rest of this is just an honest review, with suggestions for improvements: There was a large stain on the sofa (room 66). A couple of wall scuffs (easily touched up with paint) and a bathroom in need of some updating (the shower especially) or even replacing the sink faucet & drain would help. However, the main reason for downgrading "comfort" for me was four of the most lumpy pillows I have ever had to sleep on! I honestly had to laugh and I even took a picture. What an easy thing to fix!

We stay here 2-3 times a year. We travel with a small dog and this is a wonderful plsce to stay with large grass walking areas and fair pet fee. Aged but comfortable room & beds, easy parking and good breakfast. Nice place to stay

This is an older property that the owners take a lot of pride in! Very friendly staff! Everything was clean. But also old. We should all avoid chain hotels and support our locals! These people are doing a fantastic job! And they served a very nice continental breakfast!

Getaway

Very clean and well maintained. Large grassy area for sitting back and relaxing. Liked the decor--especially the lamps. Disappointed the futness center was not available. That was one of the things that made us choose that location.

The staff was always friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked newly renovated with a walk in shower. Very nice stay, would stay here again.

The staff was so accommodating. We needed 2 rooms and they put us next to each other AND right next to hot tub! Family owned, cute decor and even a rubber ducky for our bath. Lots of outside activities to do. We will definitely be coming back.
