It was surprising to live in this hotel.Food was really good. Dinner and breakfast are buffet and international food available all time.
Staff speaks English, they are young and more experienced on their job. The hotel is closer to lake and Ropeway, only 2mins walking to station from Hotel shortcut pathway. The hotel has got million dollar views in the front entry and lake view rooms. I had really good two night staying with my partner. I definitely will be back with my friends.
This hotel is amazing. Got the private onsen bath which is clean and amazing, polite and friendly staff - always feel comfortable with the service, everything in the room is clean and neat, really good views, also buffet dinner is offered with a variety of delicious options, no convenience stores in walking distance but that isn't important compared to the experience.
It is the place to be if you want in enjoy the Japanese culture and cuisine. The staff were incredibly courteous, helpful and assertive. They go the extra mile to make sure thier guests are happy and comfortable. I have been to excellent hotels around the world but this hotel exceeded my expectations. Wonderful place to be.
We were blown away by this hotel. The location is a dreamy, the amenities are awesome, and the onsen was so perfect after 9 days in crowded Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. We got the room with the private soaking tub and it was so magical sitting out on the balcony at night listening to the sounds of the forest. Also it is so fun that you can pick out yukata to wear all over the hotel.. you can literally remove your normal clothes after getting to your room and not wear them again until check out if you want.
We were also pleasantly surprised at how delicious and varied the dinner buffet was.
We booked the shuttle to/from Odawara Station about a month in advance… it was full when we are on it so our advice is to book early if you want the free ride!
Amazing view from the lobby. Love the footbath off from the lobby while wait for check in/shuttle. Very convenient with the ropeway/pirate boat access.
Very clean and staffs takes care of you before you even ask in some occasion.
Both breakfast and dinner buffet, AMAZING!! lots of choices and tasty food. Chef's box for dinner is just too beautiful to eat.
Down side is not much to do in the area. Also as it's some what facing the street, you can hear the cars/bus passing by while trying to relax in the private tub on the balcony.
Great spa hotel ideal for Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi. It will suit walkers and those lookng to view the area but for lunch you will need to visit a local town, the hotel does not provide anything.
The property was perfectly located by the lake surrounded by nature and within walking distance to buses, the ropeway and cruise ships. Our twin room with open air bath was exceptionally clean and our room, along with the rest of the property, had all the amenities you needed, of a high standard. The only downside were the meals. Being a little isolated, the accommodation rate includes a breakfast and dinner buffet, however despite the extensive menu, they fail to provide any hot vegetable dishes… not ideal for non meat eaters. Regardless, we still recommend a stay at this beautiful spot on the lake.
