Very convenient location in respect of the airport. There is not a lot around the hotel and the areas are under construction. It is a bit of a drive to get to a restaurant other than the one at the hotel. We enjoyed the amenities, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Twice during our stay the access card stopped working, the staff reset and the cards then worked. Not sure if this is a system problem. We found the indoor pool a little cool it is a nice big pool though. The fitness facility is very good too. The breakfast was great and the staff are very diligent at making it a good experience. We did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant due to our schedules and trips.

The airport shuttle is appreciated. However, for such a steep nightly price, the hotel was not up to the mark. Dustbins were not emptied after the previous guest left and the lotions and soaps were not replenished. Breakfast is only until 9am so there’s a max rush at 8:30 to use the 4 toasters. It was a disappointing experience.

Room was clean and newly renovated, mattress was hard, pillows small -we usually bring our own pillows but forgot them! Heater & fridge a bit noisy, as well as airport travellers coming and going all hours which I expected since it’s near the airport. But overall a great place to stay especially if flying out!

Front desk service was adequate on check in. Do not seem to take into consideration regarding seniors struggling with luggage and stairs. Room at first appeared adequate (circa 1970). After quickly using toilet in order to get to restaurant before kitchen closed. Of course the toilet tank lid needed to be removed and flushing mechanisms toyed with to get tank to fill up again for the next persons flush. The tank lid stayed off for the rest of the stay. Next, on to the ‘restaurant’ called ‘ Hidden Gem’. If it wasn’t for a young blonde girl on the floor doing the work of three, this would have been an epic disaster. The ‘bartender’, I’ll call ‘Spacey Stacey’, was operating on a plane of consciousness that was not up to the task. ‘Stacey’ was our server, sort of, after the initial interaction of drinks? And drop the menus down, we didn’t see her at our table for awhile. The young hard working girl did eventually take our order for , Spacey, after finishing our first drinks and waiting awhile, we took our empties up to the bar and were helped by the young girl professionally and promptly, Spacey cruise by once during our meal, said a few, mostly incoherent words and kept going. Towards the end of our eating she flew by again, mumbling some more words, a light bulb went on and she said “I’ll bring you some napkins”. I watcher walk to the bar, grab some napkins, turn around and drop them on the table in front of us …..
