Staff was great. Airport shuttle driver was great. Room was clean. Room 238 However security light out side window was not great and blackout curtains did not work well to block out light. Hallways and doors all need a facelift, doors stick due to paint so they have to slam open and closed, very loud.

Front desk clerk was friendly, let me in early, honored my request to be away from noise. Bath tub was new and seal was fresh and clean. Walls were newly painted. Linens were clean and unscented. Shuttle driver (to airport) was a bit grumpy. Housekeeping greeted me with smiles and hello in halls.

The room was comfortable and well appointed. The only problem was the bathroom extractor fan wasn't working...and it would have been nice to have a black tea option instead of coffee - after all, this is Canada.
