A great house right across the bay from Langley
The pictures looked good when we booked, but still they didn't do the interior of the house justice. It was a beautiful home, laid out well and a pleasure to stay in. The furniture and furnishings are all in very good shape. All the rooms are spacious and you don't end up running in to everyone else on the trip all the time.
The view out of the back over the water is really nice, especially at night. Spring was just starting during our stay, but the landscaping around the property looks as if it is well-maintained and lush in the warmer months.
The neighbors and neighborhood were very quiet. The air force base plays reveille every morning at 6:30, which was much more of a novelty than anything else. Some other reviews mentioned the fighter jets taking off, which without a doubt was totally awesome to watch. They kept their flights to reasonable daytime hours so you aren't likely to be woken up or otherwise bothered by training flights.
