Hana Homestead by the Beach

Hana Homestead is our eco friendly home in the heart of Hana town.  The spectacular ocean views, large decks, new hot tub and inferred sauna and modern rustic elegance of this unique home is just the beginning.  A 3 minute stroll will bring you to Hana Bay, and beach park. You will be very close and have easy access to everything Hana has to offer!

This home includes all the comforts for a relaxing getaway in the quaint and quiet town of Hana. You can enjoy your time inside in the spacious home, or on any of the three outside decks and patio. The view of Hana Bay is absolutely breathtaking!

On the top floor there is a large complete gourmet kitchen. It is easy and fun to cook in this kitchen, as it is part of the open concept style, with the kitchen sink facing the large living room and beautiful ocean view. There is a large dining table to accommodate six people, and a unique bar facing the kitchen that can sit two people comfortably. The living room has a large couch and Incredible views. There are two bedrooms upstairs with queen beds, and one bathroom with double sinks and tub.

On the bottom floor there is a large family room with large flat screen tv, A large counter with a second refrigerator. There is also a large bedroom with king size bed, and an elegant bathroom with marble floor and shower. Outside you will find the hot tub and inferred sauna on the lanai.

We remodeled using an eco design, so all paint is zero voc, floors are natural bamboo wood, stone, and tile. some wood was reclaimed from the original house, and large windows where installed to let in lots of natural light and views.

This home is large and comfortable to accommodate your family and friends. We look forward to hosting you!

The nightly price includes both the Gross Excise Tax 4% (GET), and the Transient Accommodation Tax 13.25% (TAT). All nightly rentals must charge these taxes.

The home is beautiful and so relaxing. It has ocean views and lots of handiwork from the host to restore the home and it’s amazing. Our host was also very gracious and even gave us fresh fruit to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this home. We stayed only one night but want to return to stay longer to enjoy some of the cool features of the home, like the wood counter tops, large couch facing the ocean, sizeable kitchen and dining area. The upper balcony was the most enjoyed by our group of 6. Sleeping accommodations were perfect. Proximity to the beach, less than 3 minute walk, was also a bonus. Highly recommend this gem in Hana

House was spacious and ocean view was beautiful however there are some items in the house that ideally should be replaced such as the rusty welcome binder, dishrack, silverware holder, and paper towel holder. The second level windows did not have curtains so the next house can see directly into this rental therefore offering no privacy.

This property is amazing! Not right on the water but great view of the ocean, can hear the ocean and 3minute walk to the beach!! Beautiful property and plenty of extras such as a jacuzzi, sauna, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys for the kids, and an on-site private outside shower to clean up after walking or playing in the beach.

We chose this home because it is close to Hana Bay and we wanted a place that could accommodate our whole family of 6 adults and 2 children. We could walk a few blocks to the bay and the home's 3 bedrooms are comfortable and large. The view of the sunrise over Hana Bay is perfect. As it gets hot in Hana, there are many overhead fans that are quiet and work well. The owner was staying in a small cottage adjacent to the home and it was great to get to know him. He is building another home on the property, so the grounds no longer look as pictured. However, the construction work did not bother us as it is to the side and back of the rental.

Great Hana Getaway

We had an amazing 3 night stay in Hana! We loved the balcony with beautiful views of Hana Bay. We loved walking to the food trucks and the short drive to Hamoa Beach. The property was perfect for my family of 6 and parents ~ we hope to be back one day!

Absolutely gorgeous view!

The view from this house is absolutely amazing!! It overlooks Hana bay and the lighthouse. You can literally sit in the hot tub on the front porch and watch the sunset over the bay!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time staying on this property. The location was absolutely perfect. It is a large house with all the amenities you would need. We were able to meet John and he has great hospitality. I highly recommend staying in this home if you are visiting Hana Maui.

Perfect week in Hana

Lovely house in a great location. We liked that it was split into 2 levels, so everyone could have their own space if needed. The multiple decks were also very nice. And the view was incredible. If you’re looking to really escape, Hana is the place.

Wonderful location and tons of space

Was perfect for our multigenerational family. My senior parents told over the downstairs bedroom with living room and kitchenette and me and my husband and kids had the upstairs. Was a great location walking distance from a small beach. Perfect quiet getaway.

Quiet & beautiful

The house is amazing!! Lots of room, beautiful views. Perfect place to just chill & relax. However, if you’re planning to do a lot of activities in other areas of the island the drive back & forth across Hana Highway is very time consuming. Would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway vacation.
