Charming 3-bedroom house with private waterfront, hot tub & close to dunes

Welcome to our Hart Home on the beautiful Crystal Lake! Create those cherished memories of sun-soaked days and fireside nights, while enjoying all of our added amenities. Our home offers 75 feet of frontage with a private dock - perfect for morning swims and sunset views. With the cozy atmosphere, a hot tub, two kayaks, paddle boards, and plenty of activities, you and your group are guaranteed a great time choosing our cottage as your home away from home.

There are three bedrooms, one king bed in the basement bedroom, one queen bed bedroom on the first floor and the third is a bunk room with a queen mattress on the bottom, twin mattress on top (extra twin mattress in the closet). Each bedroom have brand new beds, pillows, comforters, with the added safety measures of pillow and mattress protectors. Stand fans are provided in each room for your added comfort. Customized California Closets have been installed throughout the home to ensure adequate space for all belongings. There are additional sleeping options; a full fold out bed in the sectional couch and a queen size wall bed in the basement. All rooms have room darkening shades. Linens are provided.

Two newly renovated bathrooms. The first bathroom has shower/tub combo and the second bathroom has a stand up shower in a large, spacious bathroom. Both have storage space, newly installed toilets, adequate lighting, and new flooring. Bathroom towels are available for your use.

Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, glass top electric stove/oven with both bake and convection options, microwave, coffee maker, small crock pot, toaster. All pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are available for your stay. Kitchen table seats 6 or you can add a leaf in to seat an additional two people. There is bar seating off the kitchen the that seats two people. Downstairs has an additional table and seating.

To accommodate families with young children, we have a high chair, pack and play, changing station, baby gates, and various books/toys for your use and convenience.

Living room has a sectional couch with a full sized bed. A 55" Flat screen Smart TV with apps available to log into your account. Password secured WiFi in the cottage for all your connection needs.

The walkout basement will be your hangout haven with more seating, game/additional dining table, 50” TV and a foosball table. Board games are also available for your enjoyment.

Girl's Trip finalllly got out of the text thread... and this spot in Hart, MI did NOT disappoint.We had several spots to enjoy: the living room, dining room, downstairs game room, two spots on the upstairs balcony, and two spots outside- fire pit and hot tub.The house was well-appointed and well thought out.Highly recommend

Multi-family vacation

We had a lovely vacation with our friends and all our kiddos at this charming lake house. The kids played for hours in the lake and loved the toys they had to offer. The deck was great with the outside couch too relax on. This house had everything we needed. Only thing we had an issue with was the water pressure. Happy we stayed and created memories!

We had a lovely stay at the Cooney’s vacation home on Crystal Lake. We vacationed with our youngest son and his family. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the family really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and water vehicles. Communication with Kelly was wonderful and she answered all of our questions before and during our stay. The home was clean when we arrived and there was a nice little welcome basket. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us and we recommend this to others. The neighbors were friendly and it was a nice quiet vacation.

Such a kid friendly property!

If you're traveling with small children, this property is a dream come true. Our little ones adored the sandy beach, the shallow water that felt safe for play, the lily pad, and the paddle boat. It was heartwarming to see them so engaged and happy. The adults had plenty of fun too—kayaking around the lake was a hit for everyone, even Grandpa! The cottage was clean,well-stocked, and offered a variety of sleeping arrangements to fit all our needs. The surrounding area has plenty of family-friendly attractions, and the neighbors were friendly. Truly a relaxing, memory-making spot for multi-generational getaways.

Amazing location for a family vacation!

This was one of the best rental places I’ve stayed. It had something for everyone (age 1.5 to 62!). Kelly was so helpful leading up to and during our stay. It was a kid friendly place with high chair, pack and play, toys, etc. which is a huge bonus when you’re traveling with young kids. There was so much to do we opted against going to a bigger, busier beach to just relax here. Paddle boards, kayaks, water pad, paddle boat, hot tub, so many things to do! The 5 year old loved this vacation and was sad to leave (and she’s usually the opposite, ready to go home after one day). We would consider coming back in the future!

Terrific lake stay

A really clean, spacious place on a scenic, small sized lake for kayaking/pedal boat: close to Silver Lake State Park and many other attractions. Everything we needed for a few days' getaway with a group of friends. The hosts were available and kind. Perfect!

Bliss with a lake view

We came to this area to celebrate our 25th anniversary,just the two of us, and we found the house both clean and so welcoming when we arrived. The welcome snack basket was a nice touch (we drove a long way to get here). We went kayaking around the lake (since the summer season was over, we pretty much had the lake to ourselves) and had an enjoyable evening by the firepit watching the stars. The bed was soooo comfortable, and the surrounding area was so quiet, we slept like babies. We explored the nearby wineries (there's one across the lake!) and biked the Hart-Montague trail. There's a nearby grocery store, Hansens, that is amazing (best wines anywhere and you can get firewood there). The fall colors were coming out but we were lucky to get warm weather. Silver Lake isn't that far away, nor Ludington,so this house was the perfect base camp for our adventures. We even spent a cozy evening watching the Lions on the big screen TV. Would definitely stay here again. The host was great about answering messages, and it's clear a lot of thought and effort was put into making the property so comfortable and accommodating for guests.

Big family trip

Three generations of my family from age 3 to Nana at 60 years old traveled from four different states to this beautiful beach home. I couldn’t recommend it any higher! Nestled in one of the most beautiful parts of Michigan we had so much fun visiting the surrounding area, And a great time was had by all at the beautiful beach house. We look forward to planning our next visit!

A beautiful, well cared for home

My friends and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay on Crystal Lake. The house feels fresh and clean and we loved the view of the lake. There are multiple spots for a small group of people to spend time together (we had 6 people), both inside and outside the house, and we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend staying here!

Mother’s Day Weekend

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming lake house, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the cleanliness and attention to detail that the owners clearly prioritize. The house is nestled in a serene location, offering breathtaking views of the lake that can be enjoyed from the amazing hot tub or the comfort of the cozy living room. What truly sets this lake house apart is its thoughtful touches. The owners have provided everything you might need for a comfortable stay, from high-quality linens and towels to a selection of board games and outdoor equipment. The private dock and access to kayaks and paddleboards made our days on the lake unforgettable. The outdoor space is equally impressive, with well-maintained grounds, a fire pit for evening gatherings, and plenty of seating to soak in the natural beauty. The peaceful surroundings create a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. In summary, this lake house is a gem. Its cleanliness, charm, and array of amenities make it an ideal getaway. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape.
