No towels in the room upon check-in and when I asked for towels I was only allowed to have 2. They would not give me more. Breakfast staff carried food in dinning area uncovered. Only 1 toaster worked. Outdated every where.

The room was filthy, the building was in disrepair, the elevator panel on the third floor was held in place by painter’s paint and the buttons were not working properly. The staff was so rude and dismissive. We are a family of four. The room had two towels only. When we asked for more, they asked us why we need four? Our reservation is for four people. They told us we will have to wait until tomorrow because they had been very busy that day and they didn’t have more towels. I will not be back to any Comfort Inn.

The room had a strong bad smell of cigarettes. I had to go buy a strong air freshener. The room had stained comforters and stained on all the washcloth towels. The breakfast was very poor and very limited. Poor breakfast service

Checked in was sent to 2nd floor room that smelled badly. Returned to Reception requested a clean room. Again 2nd floor key would not open door returned to Reception asked for someone to come up with me and open the door. Surprise that room had Bundles of Clothes in garbage bags and room smelled badly. Returned Reception where they gave key for 3rd floor. That floor did not have Bad Odors or signs of HOMELESS residents. I will not stay there again! I will also let my fellow Travel Agents and CLIA members know about that property.

This hotel needs to close for a massive renovation. The employees are nasty and lazy and make no effort to make people feel comfortable. The rooms are in complete disrepair with black mold in our bathroom. We took pics and will be sending them to Choice Hotels corporate for investigation. When we asked for the managers number they crumpled up the paper on the counter that had the number so we wouldn’t see it.

Not a great choice

The hotel is in poor repair-holes in walls of room, broken molding, dirty, stained carpet, etc etc . Stayed in a strictly non smoking room (building) that reeked of smoke. There were no bath towels in the room-had to go down to desk to get them-and hand towels had holes and stains. Too much else to mention

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. the reviews on this app lied, untrustworthy app. there were stains everywhere, smelled of cigarettes, splattered filth all over the walls, the bed and pillow were stained yellow with black debris all over it. Absolutely disgusting. The elevator was splattered with disgusting crap. I don’t think they used any cleaning product or anything ever in their life. It was the most disgusting hotel ever

so disappointed. I tried to complain and the people working didn’t care. It was not clean, the pool was broken, our TV was broken, i felt like I needed a shower after staying here. Would not recommend this.

As other reviews have said, this place is just downright bad. I have two stars, one for price, the other for clean and standard bedding. I think that’s more than generous. There were two towels in the room for four people, and when we went to get more housekeeping was “closed” at 7:30pm so we were SOL! I guess it didn’t matter though because the tub didn’t hold water and when we asked for an external drain stopper the woman at the desk looked at us like we had two heads. We just didn’t bathe our kids! My husband was trying to unload the car and was stuck at the elevator on the 3rd floor but it wouldn’t come. Luckily another guest came by and told him the call button didn’t work on that floor and hadn’t for a while. My husband figured it was fine he’s just walk down the stairs, but the door to the lobby from the stairwell was broken too so he had to walk back up and take the elevator from the second floor! SO UNSAFE! Why this wasn’t told to us when we checked in or a sign wasn’t posted—who knows! There was mold in the ice bucket and although you use a liner, that’s no excuse. It looked like there was pasta sauce on our lampshade. Breakfast was very lackluster, barely continental. No yogurt and limited bread options. One waffle maker for the huge number of people trying to eat. If all you want is a cheap clean bed, this place is fine.

This is a very well maintained and restored B&B that is located walking distance to the beach. Our room on the 1st floor had a lot of space and was very clean. There is no staff or housekeeping present at the B&B. Check in is done via directions listed on the front door. There are two other smaller B&B properties adjacent to the main B&B that are owned by the same proprietor. The office is located in one of the smaller properties but most of the time no one is there however if you call the # listed on the door, someone will answer. I would recommend this B&B, it’s very well kept and the rooms are nice and the location is great, They just have to be more informative with their check in policy, like texting or emailing check in instructions to customers.
