Upon arrival, the room key didn't work so I had to go to the front desk several times to get the room key re-programmed. The front desk person was pleasant, but not apologetic. Another staff person told me that the room keys are frequently a problem, so it was not unique to me. It turns out it was not the key programming, but the door lock system. The entire room door access system needs to be repaired or replaced hotel-wide. I stayed for three nights and was never confident that I'd be able to get into my room because the key never worked on the first try.
The bedroom was dated and in need of renovation. The wooden furniture is gouged, chipped, and scratched. There was a hole in a lampshade. There was a hole in the wall where a hook may have once been.
The hot water was lukewarm, not hot.
The bed was comfortable and the pillows were sufficient, so I was able to sleep fine.
The tv is a Roku system, which took some getting used to.
Free wi-fi, but with no password needed, so I question the security of the wi-fi.
No breakfast, just coffee.
I will not be staying at this hotel again. My mistake for choosing to stay at "Red Roof Inn", which I confused with "Residence Inn".
