This pristine ten-bedroom, ten-and-two-half-bath home is located in the heart of Hatteras Island. In two minutes, find yourself at the Hatteras Landing Marina or the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. Spend your days lounging on the beach and your nights relaxing in your private spa. Witness breathtaking sunsets over the Pamlico Sound and wake up to the sunrise on your covered back patio. This oceanfront home offers spectacular views of the Atlantic and is pet-friendly. Host a large event or wedding with the ample space provided, or gather with your family and friends for a fun-filled Outer Banks vacation. Jump in your private swimming pool and relax by the tiki bar in the backyard. MerSea is the perfect home for an ultimate Outer Banks getaway.

Step into the first level to find an arcade room and game room with a small lounge. Play foosball, pinball, or ping pong as you unwind in the evenings. Relax in the lounge with ocean views and access to the covered patio and backyard. The four King En Suites on this level are equipped with flat-screen TVs. Two offer access to the covered patio and backyard. One En Suite features a King over King bunk bed sleeping four, while the other is designed for two guests. In the foyer, locate the half bath across from the elevator and staircase.

On the second level, enjoy a similar layout with two common areas, including a private theater room. In the foyer, access the wet bar located just outside the second game room with an ocean lounge. Play billiards and relax with ocean views. Each of the four King En Suites on this level includes a flat-screen TV. Two King Suites on the east end feature ocean views, while the remaining two are located at the front of the home. Choose between a single-bed En Suite or a Double King Bunk En Suite across the hall.

Ride the elevator to the third level and take in breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views from the living room. Relax on the large sectional while enjoying your favorite show on the flat-screen TV. The spacious modern kitchen is fully equipped for preparing memorable meals and features a massive island with seating for six and an additional prep sink. Head into the dining room to enjoy dinner together, then step onto the deck for dessert while feeling the ocean breeze.

In the backyard, lounge in your private swimming pool or unwind in the hot tub under the stars. Fire up the gas grill for lunch and enjoy the picnic area. The extended backyard also provides an ideal setting for hosting an Outer Banks wedding or event. After a long day, rinse off in the outdoor shower before heading into town for dining and shopping.

Pet-Friendly: Bring up to two dogs at no charge. The standard $185 pet fee is waived for this property. No cats or other animals permitted.

This property has 10 parking spaces for guests.

Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.

Our stay was absolutely memorable! We went to Cape Hatteras for a family getaway and this home did not disappoint. The amenities were perfect and the space was beautiful. We were really excited about the location with it being right by the beach! We mostly utilized the 4th floor with the kitchen and the movie room. The hot tub was another great addition.The hosts were kind and pretty responsive. The space was clean and tidy! We would absolutely stay in this home again.

Happy Days at the Beach

Our family loved the week we spent at this property, fantastic beach access, and lots of time at the pool. The house was great with plenty of room for everybody, including parking. It was our first time in Cape Hatteras and we loved the low hustle and laid back aspect of the area.

Spring break

The house size was great for our large group! All the beds being kingsize was great with onsuites. Elevator was a great feature for loading luggage and having some older guest. Yard was amazing for volleyball, soccer etc. Pool was great and being heated was a great feature for night swims. Only downfall was dishwashers were broken and unable to be repaired, very big hassle with the amount of people staying.

Great house for a lifetime of memories.

The house is perfectly laid out for large groups. Each bedroom and bathroom is large enough to accommodate two adults per room and plenty of common rooms to accommodate various activities. The kitchen and living room and dining room are large enough for plenty. Great location! Awesome views.

Home was nice and spacious w/incredible views. Not having a pot holder or dish towel was disappointing. When went to cook the hanlde of the pan was falling off. Bed was broken and called to have fixed, they showed up and said would be back next morning and didn't come back the entire week we were there.

Dolphin show!

We loved staying at MerSea, very fun, super comfortable, great view and easy beach access. The best parts were all of the pods of dolphins, pelicans doing fly bys of the living room windows, relaxing walks on the beach and shells galore! The house is nicely decorated, luxurious but welcoming, and the game room, pool table, theater room and hot tub were the perfect diversions when not on the beach! Plenty of space, nice kitchen and lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Great yard and loved having our dog along. Isola’s had delicious pizza and we also had yummy sandwiches from Kat’s Deli. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful large new house with great location

We had a great time with our family at this house. It is brand new construction, so it was very clean. The kitchen was very large and great to use to cook for the family! Everyone had space to themselves and spaces to congregate. The yard is very large. The pool and hot tub were a hit! The beach access is just a few houses down! The. Daily cabana and chairs was nice so we didn’t have to drag ours out each day! Great escape!

Nice house but issues with quality of construction

The house wasn’t cleaned properly before we arrived. There was a leak in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms, the door to the deck off the dining area didn’t work, and the oven was dirty. The location was awesome.

Family reunion

The house was awesome as advertised, the cookware plentiful, but probably needs refreshed. The only disappointment was the outdoor grills which were not even close to being usable, a huge disappointment to the beautiful steaks we had purchased. There is no rehab for those grills, a definite replacement needed.

Impressed with the house

It was a great house for a big group. To start with, the house is exactly as you would imagine after seeing the pictures from the listing. The beach is very close by and hence the views are great, pool and Jacuzzi were well maintained and the location vibe was very good. Kitchen had all the utilities you would need for a large group. We were also able to use the grill to the max. The backyard was huge and we could play many outdoor games in the space. Kees customer service was very responsive and they were helpful for any issues we had during the stay. Only thing in the entire house that did not meet our expectations was the elevator which was very slow and some times non responsive. We missed using the music system for most of our stay, it was decent. There is a grocery store close by with all the required necessities

Great Stay, But with a Few Unwanted Guests

My family and I have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for three years, and we've consistently chosen Kees Homes for our stay. Communication with management has always been excellent, and this particular home was no exception—beautiful, spacious, and in a fantastic location. However, our stay wasn't entirely perfect. Unfortunately, we encountered roaches during our visit. I contacted management after discovering the first one, though it was late at night, so I didn’t expect an immediate response. On our last day, I followed up with another message, including pictures, to report additional sightings. Management responded promptly and assured us they would address the issue. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again, provided these issues have been resolved.

Team Building Retreat

The property is lovely - the home is perfect for a large group, even has an elevator, which is handy when the kitchen is on the top floor! We had hoped to be able to check in a little early, and were willing to pay a fee to do so. We booked the space in May, and there was no one staying in the house the night before, so we thought it wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, the housekeepers were in the house until check-in time. We did sit by the pool and start our meeting there, which was fine, but having to call the day of, after 12 pm to find out if you can check in a little early is a bit of a pain. All in all, we had a wonderful experience. Did not have body wash in 4 bathrooms, found a couple items of trash that had been overlooked, but in a house that big, it's understandable. Would recommend that the housekeepers check the drawers, however. We did find 2 bowls of greasy popcorn with butter in the bottom of one of the bedside tables on the last day. No bugs, though :)

Great house and location, bad pest control

Overall this house is great. The location with easy beach access, spacious yard with pool and jacuzzi, spacious living areas and many bedrooms was great. The kids enjoyed the extra living areas such as the billiard room, arcade room, and movie theater. However, cockroaches. Not one or two. At least 30? Many were dead or dying, but some were alive and even crawling on the walls. After the first few, we reached out and they offered to send pest control. Initially I declined having pest control come because it was only about 5 roaches at that time and we had little kids. But when it was out of control, I reached out again and asked for pest control which didn’t come. We also got tons of bug bites so in general the pest control needs improvement. When we arrived the grill looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. We had to clean it to make it useable. A new vacuum was brought to the house during our stay. Housekeeping had “vacuumed” with a broken vacuum when we arrived. We tried to use the broken one to clean up during our stay and it didn’t work at all. We knew we had to bring our own laundry and dish detergent, but we did expect at least for the soap dispensers in the bathrooms to be working/refilled which most weren’t. Minus, the cockroaches and other bugs, this could’ve been a 5 star review.

This property was not advertised as incomplete and still under construction. The information about it being new construction was in the Welcome Letter that wasn’t even sent until the day of our arrival at 4pm after I called for the door code. There were several unfinished projects in this house that we should have been made aware of before arrival. This house could be decent with a little attention. No way it should have all these issues being new they rushed to rent it out. See list below for the many issues 1. Guest Safety: Entry door does not latch - house always open 2. door handle on door between entry level and first level 3. Guest Safety: Smoke detector has plastic bag from contractor work still on it 4. Guest Safety: No steps for hot tub 5. Outside gate broken upon arrival- can’t close gate for dog - paid pet fee 6. In general the house cleaning was poor- toothpaste still in bathroom sink, soap and a shaver still in a shower, hair in showers, floors not clean 7. Dishwasher left full for us to empty 8. Pool company not made aware to turn on heat in pool which was paid for 9. Pool wasn’t filtering or skimming due to sand in the filter/skimmer - they couldn’t fix the pool 10. Door for one of the upstairs bedroom won’t close all the way 11. No hardware to lock 2nd floor bedroom doors 12. Upstairs shower drips 13. One of the burners on the cooktop didn’t work - cracked knob 14. Hole in wall in one of the bedrooms 15. Garbage not taken out to curb prior to our arrival right up next to house overflowing 16. Flies all in the house the probably from the trash that wasn’t taken out and doors left open when prior guests exited 17. Had to dry our own towels and some sheets - problem with their laundry service:
