Try a different hotel

So dirty and worn. Big stains, in multiple locations, on the hall carpets. Multiple spots where the carpet was completely worn thru. Inside the room there was a big hole where somebody had slammed the door open and the handle went thru the wall. The pictures are of the hotel are very decieving. It was not close to this nice

I’ve stayed at the property several times but this time it was different. I’m not sure if it’s starting to become a lot to manage or what but when we walked into our room-even with the AC on, it was thick with humidity. You can smell a little moldy smell. The air felt so heavy. And on our connecting room doors, there was mold/mildew on the edges of the doors. I don’t want to leave a bad review, & I promise I’m not a picky person. The breakfast was pretty good, fruit, waffles, toast, pigs in a blanket. Everyone was nice & it’s very convenient to a lot of things. But the mold/mildew/humidity in the room probably dictated that it will be our final stay at this property.

While the room was relatively clean, the hotel was not. Most of the fixtures including the shower curtain rod and handicap bars in the bathroom were rusty. Housekeepers woke us at 7:30am knocking and then proceeding to open the door.

Large clean nice room for under $100 a night with no worry about any bugs. Every other motel or hotel in the area has bug reports unless it's over $100 a night. This is perfect for one night stay. They are still doing repairs and renovations and it's somewhat safe area. The smell is strong.

We were in town for work. The room was nice and comfortable. It’s OK for the price nothing fancy. There is a Popeyes close by(within walking distance). I would not recommend walking. There were a lot of sketchy people walking on the bridge to get to Popeyes.

Housekeeping does an adequate job maintaining the hotel, but during my stay on 8-12-25, I encountered an issue returning from work to find no water available for showers. The water service was restored two hours later, but guests should have received prior notification of this situation.

Your car is a better option.

I considered sleeping on the floor as the carpet padding was softer than the bed but the carpet was so stained up that wasn’t an option either. Towel had ‘hair’ in it. Just over ‘ick’.

Good for a nights rest

Once I figured out how to get into parking lot (it was getting dark) the feel of the place kicked in- old and tired. But, I got a good nights rest- and that is the overall goal after all. Hallway needs new carpet, ignore the warm air in hallway (room was a tad cold for my taste and it took an hour for it to get comfy). There are refurbish needs like painting, stains on carpets, a light not working (bedside), etc. Once done this place will shine!!
