It’s the perfect base for exploring the legendary Champagne Route, where you can combine visits to numerous wineries with tastings. The apartment: A living area with a coffee table, armchairs, and a TV; a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area; a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed; a walk-in shower and a separate toilet; bed linens and towels provided. You’ll be located right in the heart of the village, 50 m from the main square and 100 m from the Dom Pérignon Abbey Church. For dining, a bakery, a champagne bar, and a café-restaurant are all within 50 metres of the apartment. As you stroll through the village, you’ll discover a traditional wine-growing village, designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site and recognized as a “Remarkable Heritage” site. From the village’s higher elevations, the view of the vineyards and the Marne Valley is spectacular. Hautvillers is a charming little village best explored on foot. If you’re lucky, you can park right across from the accommodation, or use the free public “Jard Kiedrich” parking lot located nearby. You’ll then reach your lodging via Rue Lecaillon, a very picturesque cobblestone pedestrian alley.
